Last night was special!
I hosted a group of brilliant Iranian minds in AI, people from Databricks, Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, Anthropic, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and others, over a Persian dinner prepared by Chef hanif sadr.

Hanif talked about food and what it means in our culture. For Iranians, food has never been just food. It’s how we welcome people. It’s how we connect. It’s how we remember where we came from.

I talked about our community. I left Iran many years ago, but I have never stopped believing in the incredible talent of Iranian people.
Sitting around that table and listening to everyone, I kept thinking: Iran is full of talent. So much talent!

Some of the people in that room are working on the most important technology of our generation. They came from different places and took different paths, but there was something very familiar around the table.
We shared food. We laughed. We talked about AI, life, Iran, and the future.
I felt proud!

Just imagine what could be built if the same opportunities existed for the young people inside the country!

Sometimes community starts with something as simple as sitting around a table together.
What a night. ❤️

قصه‌ی هر سفره برای من از روز اجرا شروع نمی‌شه،
از اولین جلسه که با عروس و خانواده‌اش صحبت میکنم شروع می‌شه.جایی که از حال و هوای مراسم، سبک مورد علاقه‌شان و حسی که دوست دارند مهمان‌هایشان تجربه کنند، صحبت می‌کنیم.

از همان‌جا طراحی شکل می‌گیرد.

قبل از انتخاب آیتم‌ها، گل‌ها و سبک طراحی، به خود فضا نگاه می‌کنم. معماری، نور، بافت و حس یک مکان، مسیر طراحی را مشخص می‌کنند.

برای این سفره عقد در ناپا، از متریال‌های طبیعی مثل کوزه‌های سفالی، شاخه‌های درفت‌وود و فرم‌های ساده استفاده کردم تا سفره، بخشی از این حیاط نوستالژیک و شهر شراب و تاکستان ها باشد، نه عنصری جدا از آن.

به نظرم، یک سفره عقد زیبا فقط از کنار هم قرار گرفتن آیتم‌های زیبا و ظروف پر رزق و برق ساخته نمی‌شود. زیبایی واقعی زمانی شکل می‌گیرد که همه‌ی و جزئیات با هم هماهنگ باشند و در نهایت، تجربه‌ای چشم‌نواز و ماندگار برای همه خلق کنند. 🥰

The 2nd Luxury Wedding Show in Northern California was held while our hearts were filled with sorrow and grief.

دومین شوی لاکچری عروسی در شمال کالیفرنیا در حالی برگزار شد که دل‌هایمان سرشار از اندوه و غم بود.
هم‌زمان با ایستادگی و شجاعت مردم ایران برای به‌دست آوردن ابتدایی‌ترین حق فردی خود، یعنی آزادی، ما گرد هم آمدیم تا با همدلی و همراهی یکدیگر، نام ایران و جاویدنام‌های آن را از طریق نمایش گوشه‌ای از هنر و فرهنگ ایرانی، در صنعت برگزاری مراسم، با هم‌میهنان حاضر و مخاطبان غیرایرانی به اشتراک بگذاریم.
