قصه‌ی هر سفره برای من از روز اجرا شروع نمی‌شه،
از اولین جلسه که با عروس و خانواده‌اش صحبت میکنم شروع می‌شه.جایی که از حال و هوای مراسم، سبک مورد علاقه‌شان و حسی که دوست دارند مهمان‌هایشان تجربه کنند، صحبت می‌کنیم.

از همان‌جا طراحی شکل می‌گیرد.

قبل از انتخاب آیتم‌ها، گل‌ها و سبک طراحی، به خود فضا نگاه می‌کنم. معماری، نور، بافت و حس یک مکان، مسیر طراحی را مشخص می‌کنند.

برای این سفره عقد در ناپا، از متریال‌های طبیعی مثل کوزه‌های سفالی، شاخه‌های درفت‌وود و فرم‌های ساده استفاده کردم تا سفره، بخشی از این حیاط نوستالژیک و شهر شراب و تاکستان ها باشد، نه عنصری جدا از آن.

به نظرم، یک سفره عقد زیبا فقط از کنار هم قرار گرفتن آیتم‌های زیبا و ظروف پر رزق و برق ساخته نمی‌شود. زیبایی واقعی زمانی شکل می‌گیرد که همه‌ی و جزئیات با هم هماهنگ باشند و در نهایت، تجربه‌ای چشم‌نواز و ماندگار برای همه خلق کنند. 🥰

Details of our incredible Sofreh Aghd made by the talented @artbymersa. Roya from @winnerwedding knew just how to create the perfect Persian American wedding ceremony for us.

The Sofreh Aghd is a traditional Persian wedding spread that symbolizes love, prosperity, joy, and the blessings of a shared life together. Each item placed on the sofreh carries special meaning: from mirrors and candles representing light and reflection, to honey symbolizing sweetness in marriage, and nuts, fruits, and spices representing abundance, fertility and good fortune.

One of the most cherished traditions is the sugar grinding ceremony, where some of the most important and special women in our lives gently grind sugar cones above the couple’s heads, showering them with wishes for a sweet and happy marriage.

Our Sofreh Aghd was a beautiful way to honor Ethans Persian heritage and celebrate the beginning of our life together surrounded by family, love, and tradition.

41 on the coast. 🌊

Spent the day driving Highway 1 with my guys, feeling a lot of reflection and so much gratitude.

This past year brought some really beautiful shifts: from starting a new career chapter with an incredible team, to entering my seventh year of marrying couples, to simply feeling a deep, sustained strength in my health that I don’t take for granted.
