Go before me Lord 🤍

~

Dear Lord, as I step into this next chapter of my life, I am asking You to go before me. Stand in every place I am headed, speak into every conversation I will have, and fight battles I don’t even know are forming. Cover my mind so I am not led by fear, insecurity, or the memories of where I have been. Lord, I am choosing to grow, I am choosing to heal, and I am choosing to believe that the same power that raised You from the dead is working in my life right now. If there is anything in me that stands in the way of who You have called me to be, remove it gently but completely. Break every chain I have gotten comfortable dragging, and release me from the weight of what is not mine to carry. Help me to think higher, to love deeper, and to grow stronger in my obedience to You. Anchor me in Your peace; let Your wisdom be the voice that leads me and Your joy be the strength that lifts me. Surround me with the right people, the right opportunities, and the right doors, and shut the ones that are not for me, no matter how much I want them. Remind me that You are not just the God of my yesterday, but the God of my becoming. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 143.

We are all equal 🤍

Who am I to judge another soul when I also walk this life as an imperfect creation in need of a Lord and Savior. It is interesting how quickly our eyes can spot a flaw in someone else while we casually ignore the spiritual mess we are still working through ourselves. In truth, everyone you encounter is figuring life out in real time ~ stumbling, adjusting, and trying again by the grace of Jesus Christ. True humility begins the very moment you remember that you are not a finished masterpiece yourself, but a soul still under the hand of the Lord. The next time you feel the urge to judge, pause and recall that you are far from a righteous person yourself. You are a work in progress, filled with your own flaws, unexpected plot twists, and moments of questionable judgment. By offering the same grace you hope to receive on your worst days, you honor the Father’s patience with your own journey. In the same way you judge others, you will be judged. 143.
