💥Thank you to everyone who joined us for our opening event! It was wonderful to see both familiar and new faces, and we hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did. 🙏 A special thanks to all the participating artists for making this event truly memorable! 👉 We warmly invite you to come and explore the exhibition. The gallery is open from Mo-Fr. 11:00–19:00 / Sa. 10:00–19:00 “UNIFIED CONTRASTS - A DIALOGUE BETWEEN ABSTRACT AND REALISM“ 📍Artists: Adrian Falkner / Camille Gendron / Dali Geralle / Dan Witz / Dirk Koy / George Rose / Holger Kurt Jäger / Martinus Papilaja / Paul Riedmüller / Philip Hedegaard / Stark Alexander / Stefan Stanojevic 🐍 “Unified Contrasts” explores the dynamic interplay between abstract and realistic art, highlighting how these contrasting styles can complement and transform each other. This exhibition celebrates the tension and harmony created when abstraction’s focus on form and emotion meets realism’s detailed depiction of the visible world. By showcasing works that both harmonize and contrast these approaches, the exhibition invites viewers to see new possibilities within art’s boundaries, offering fresh perspectives that expand our understanding of artistic expression”. ⏰ Exhibition: 2.DEC.24 - 3.MAY.2025 Mo-Fr. 11:00 – 19:00 / Sa. 10:00 – 19:00 Curator: Daniel Künzler @dannyfromdablock 📸©️Photos @fotoschiko

STEFAN WINTERLE, *1976 in Lörrach, Germany „Fenster zum Hof“, 2024 Spray paint with stencils on concrete 40 x 25 x 30 cm „Löwenzahn“, 2024 Spray paint with stencils on canvas 120 x 100 cm Winterle began painting graffiti in 1993 and is a self-taught artist. He studied business administration at the Duale Hochschule Lörrach from 1998 – 2001. He has been a freelance artist since 2005. Stefan Winterle is known for his stencil art, painting with stencils. For over 20 years he has been using stencils he has made himself to create his pictures. He has achieved mastery in this painting technique and attracted attention early on with exhibitions in the USA, Australia and Europe. His latest body of work is inspired by the four-color model of printing technology and its pointillist aesthetic of reduction and blurring. The CMYK color model is of interest to the artist because the colors used only mix on the painting surface. It is therefore not necessary to apply each color tone separately, but only the four in the correct mixing ratio. This is particularly advantageous if a separate stencil would otherwise have to be made for each color. Winterle took on this challenge during the corona lockdown and found his artistic solution. He has developed a workflow to create stencil paintings that consist of just four stencils, mainly the colors cyan, magenta, yellow and key (=black), and work equally well on paper, canvas and walls. He follows different series of motifs in his paintings. He takes inspiration from his everyday life. From scenes from the urban space and impressions from nature in equal measure. But he is also constantly inspired to create new works and interpretations by playing with graphic elements and patterns. A digital catalog with new exclusive works is available. Please contact us by e-mail to receive it. We look forward to meeting you in person at our booth A03. Order your free VIP ticket for the whole week of the fair by e-mailing us. VOLTA was launched in Basel in 2005 as a joint project of dealers and friends. The satellite fair quickly developed into a platform that supports up-and-coming international galleries and enables them to participate in the most important art markets. A short time later, in 2008, VOLTA New York was launched. Throughout its existence, VOLTA has been responsive to external markets and the ambitions of its galleries. Together, the fair and its galleries navigate market trends, resulting in a space that offers forward-thinking curation – a truly unique and international artistic dialog for collectors to explore. Now the fair is looking ahead to make the 2024 edition its most vibrant chapter yet. The 19th edition of the fair returns to the intimate setting of Klybeck 610 and is the first edition under the artistic direction of Lee Cavaliere. Experience the most global event yet in 2024 with over 45 galleries from 24 countries.
