I didn’t expect an a capella cover of neo-soul song by @couch.theband to speak to me the way it did…

“Saturday” is an upbeat song about how hard it is to slow down when you’re constantly a day late and a dollar short, just barely squeaking by from deadline to deadline.

That has certainly been a theme of this past year for me, and is true for so many people navigating the hustle of multiple irons in the fire. When life and art imitate each other, you get an especially personal result.

Directing this video for @byunoteworthy meant a lot to me, and these ladies brought all of their passion and talent. I’m proud to have had to opportunity to work with such an incredible crew and ensemble, and to have made something for my alma mater.

One of the wildest jobs I’ve experienced. Flew to Utah, drove another couple hours to work in the middle of Goblin Valley National Park, didn’t pack well so put on every clothing item I had in my suitcase (& was still cold😂💫) met amazing creatives, all while being on the styling team for this incredible @elleusa campaign 🪩

As a kid, my favorite thing in the world was playing with cars. Back then, if you told me, one day I would actually get paid to do what I love most, drive fast and slide cars, I’m not sure I would have believed you.
This job was a full circle moment. As stunt coordinator, I had the opportunity to go over the boards with Director Josh Hayward. Every shot had me drifting a Dark Horse Mustang. It was at that moment I realized how amazing this job was going to be.
On top of the dream job, we had a totally professional crew that was on the ball, and made my job easy. Ashlei Tave @stuntlei was also on the job shooting a Bronco Raptor commercial simultaneously, and when she wasn’t sliding the Bronco, she was giving me a hard time and making me laugh non-stop.
