On 1st March 2026, at Kochi @comicconindia , we officially launched MAAYAN, a new transmedia project from Kerala to the world, published by Maayan Publications, founded by Rijas Sulaiman, and created by @carmond_infinity .

Actor and musician Anarkali Marikar unveiled the first trailer of MAAYAN to an incredible crowd, marking the beginning of this journey.

At the event, we also presented the first two books from the MAAYAN comic series, Issue #1 and Issue #2, introducing audiences to the world and characters of this expanding universe.

It was amazing to see readers, cosplayers, and fans stop by our stall, flip through the pages, and experience MAAYAN for the first time.

Thank you to everyone who came by, supported the launch, and shared in this moment with us. This is only the beginning.

MAAYAN has begun.

I first met @anandtu and @wish_shack, the Founders of @carmond_infinity in Dec 2023 (Second Pic!) and the first thoughts of @kingarakavyam began to take shape. Besides their passion for animation, I was blown away by their ambition and commitment as entrepreneurs. Today they are not just my co-creators but also my brothers who have been a pillar of strength on this very difficult journey. I have learned and grown immensely as an Animation Filmmaker from their experience and today we dare to dream even bigger! And as always I had @iamlijojoseph in my corner to keep me going through thick and thin. As the lights turned on after our Premiere at Animela, it was a very gratifying journey for all four of us. I take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful folks at Carmond and my dream team @firstprintstudios, who made this film possible. The journey for Kingara Kavyam has well and truly begun and we are humbled by the warm reception and love the film received in Animela. Looking forward to many more!

മെക്കിൻസിയിലെ ജോലിവിട്ട് അനിമേഷൻ സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പ് തുടങ്ങിയ അനന്തകൃഷ്ണൻ എന്ന യുവസംരംഭകന്റെ കഥ

കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ ഓച്ചിറ വലിയകുളങ്ങര സ്വദേശിയായ ടി.യു. അനന്തകൃഷ്ണന് അനിമേഷനാണ് ജീവവായു. കായംകുളം എം.എസ്.എം. കോളേജിലെ ബിരുദപഠനശേഷം തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ടൂൺസ് അക്കാദമിയിൽ അനിമേഷൻ പരിശീലനത്തിന് ചേർന്നു. തുടർന്ന്, ടൂൺസിൽത്തന്നെ ജോലിക്കും കയറി. ഇതിനിടെ, മാസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സിനായി മൈസൂരുവിലെ അമൃത യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിലേക്ക്. അതുകഴിഞ്ഞതോടെ, ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ മെക്കിൻസിയിൽ ജോലി. കോവിഡ് കാലമായിരുന്നതിനാൽ ‘വർക്ക് ഫ്രം ഹോം’ സൗകര്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
അപ്പോഴേക്കും സ്വന്തമായി അനിമേഷൻ വർക്കുകൾ വന്നുതുടങ്ങി. മെക്കിൻസിയിലെ ജോലി അതിനൊന്നും ഒരു തടസ്സമായിരുന്നില്ല. പറഞ്ഞ സമയത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ജോലികൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയാൽ മതിയായിരുന്നു മെക്കിൻസിയിൽ. കൊച്ചിയിൽ ഒരു ഫ്ളാറ്റ് വാടകയ്ക്കെടുത്ത് എട്ടുപേരെക്കൊണ്ട് വർക്കുകൾ ചെയ്യിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 2021-ൽ ‘മിന്നൽ മുരളി’ സിനിമയുടെ പ്രമോഷന്റെ ഭാഗമായി വീക്കെൻഡ് ബ്ലോക്ക്ബസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സ് എന്ന നിർമാണക്കമ്പനിക്കുവേണ്ടി മൊബൈൽ ഗെയിം വികസിപ്പിച്ചു.
ശമ്പളത്തിന് തുല്യമായ തുക പുറത്തെ വർക്കുകളിലൂടെ കിട്ടുമെന്നായപ്പോൾ ജോലി രാജിവെച്ച് ഫുൾടൈം സംരംഭകന്റെ കുപ്പായം അണിഞ്ഞു. ‘കാർമോണ്ട് ഇൻഫിനിറ്റി’ എന്ന സംരംഭത്തിന് അതോടെ ‘ഔദ്യോഗിക’ തുടക്കമായി. ഒരു പ്രോജക്ടിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി എത്തിയ കൊല്ലം പുനലൂർ സ്വദേശി പി.കെ. വിശാഖ് ഇതിനിടെ കോഫൗണ്ടറായി ചേർന്നു. കമ്പനിയുടെ സി.ഇ.ഒ. ആയ അനന്തകൃഷ്ണൻ ബിസിനസ് കാര്യങ്ങൾ കൈകാര്യംചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ പി.കെ. വിശാഖാണ് ക്രിയേറ്റീവ് ഡയറക്ടർ. ആർട്ട് ഡയറക്ടറായി അനുചന്ദ് റാമും അനിമേഷൻ ഡയറക്ടറായി വി.എം. വിശാഖും പ്രീ-പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ ഡയറക്ടറായി അനന്തു അജിത്തുമുണ്ട്.

He quit McKinsey & Co — not out of frustration, but out of clarity.

T.U. Ananthakrishnan used Covid-era remote work to quietly build freelance animation income, a team, and market validation. After working on projects including a game linked to Minnal Murali, his side income matched his salary.

Only then did he quit — and build Carmond Infinity.

Lesson:
Don’t jump into entrepreneurship.
Switch when market + money + team are ready.
