Imagine your favourite story coming alive in sound. What if its world, characters, or scenes were explored in a whole new way?

After a hiatus, our community came together to chat about all things music. I got really excited to bring back the Song Challenge (our regular songwriting prompts) - and so I did exactly that, for any of you looking for a little creative boost!

✨ Song Challenge 050: Sound Lore

Songwriting prompt:

Choose a recent favourite book, film, or game, and capture the feeling of its world, a character, or a specific scene in a new piece of music. Think about what instruments and arrangement styles would best represent your subject. What musical techniques can bring its atmosphere to life?

You’re free to reinterpret or reimagine the story in your own way. A Shakespeare opera in space? Yes.

🎶 How to share:
Post your song in the comments with a link (e.g. SoundCloud, Bandcamp). If you’d like, include a short note about your creative process; what inspired you, what choices did you make, or what challenges did you face?

📅 Listening party:
Join us on September 13th at 20:00 (UTC+1) for our Inner Circle listening party in our community Discord server - an inclusive space to share and celebrate the music we’ve made.

*** P.S. Comment ‘challenge’ and I’ll send you more info on the Patreon listening party, and our Discord where you can chat and collaborate with like-minded musicians from around the world. 🌊

One of my amazing supporters gifted me a beatbox & mouth trumpet lesson with the legend @blackroll.beatbox for my birthday 🥁😍✨ Learning the basics live on Twitch was such a wild and fun experience, I got totally hooked!

I believe my “boots and cats” already got a lil’ better haha. 😆 I’ll show you a proper beat once I manage one!

Would you guys like to see the full lesson on YouTube? ✨ Let me know in the comments!

Huge thanks to @witchking1999 for the fun gift and to Alberto for the lesson and great vibes!

Last weekend, we had such a lovely Twitch Community Meet-up in Berlin 💖😍

Every year, we try our best to meet up in real life and have some funnn! This time, we went to an Arcade, where we could kill zombies in VR and get crushed in Mario Kart by my moderator 😂
We also visited a game shop filled with retro games and a music shop where I tried playing the Theremin for the first time. 💖 We did a tour in a craft brewery and even had lunch at a Brazilian restaurant. Thanks, guys, for coming over and for the great laughs! 😍

Join our Discord for more pics and to know when we're doing another IRL meet-up! 🔗 https://discord.com/invite/CdPrCvr
