Vegan Thanksgiving pre-orders are live!
There’s always a lot of buzz asking if we’re going to keep doing this. YES, we’re excited to be back in the kitchen cooking up hundreds of vegan dishes for Cville again! 🧡
This is PERFECT for the solo vegan/vegetarian in your family that you never know how to cook for!  OR for getting a bit adventurous while trying to have a satisfying & comforting meal sans animal products.  We even have a “Full Thanksgiving Meal” that comes with a bit of everything. Each order of everything serves roughly two, so plan accordingly & order multiples if needed.
We stop accepting orders on November 23rd, and ALL pickups are for November 25th, so schedule your pickups for the 25th! (Pickups at Cville from 9-3 & pickups in Crozet are from 4-9, and you can mark which location you want to pick up at under the thanksgiving section). The 25th is the ONLY pick up day for both locations!

We will have directions for reheating & preparing your dishes included with every order.

🍪 I use vanilla bean paste by @nielsenmassey
🍪Unsweetened apple sauce instead of eggs keep them moist and chewy
🍪Olive oil based vegan butter!

Yesterday, UVA Today published an article about a new giving campaign in partnership with @unitedwaycville that featured our talented friend and client @withcarrington of @withchanterellecafe. We’ve had the pleasure of photographing her baked goods, and her adorable family, and were excited to see two of our photos used in the article. 🥐📸😍

If you haven’t tried her amazing vegan treats, you can catch Carrington this Saturday at @farmersmarketatix and September 13th from 11am to 4pm at @cvillevegfest.

Chanterelle Cafe was on the local news today y’all!

So grateful for the expanded cottage food law. If you haven’t noticed, I’m currently on a summer break from custom orders. It’s so I can create new online and shipping options statewide for you! Check out the full video and story on NBC 29 News WVIR

Happy 2 Years of Chanterelle Cafe! 🥳

Thank you from the bottom of my vegan heart for supporting me in any and every way these last two years! I taught myself how to bake only a few years ago really just so my son wouldn’t miss out on any desserts and now I’ve made thousands of desserts for all of you! From markets to weddings to birthdays, we’ve made some beautiful memories together.

Collectibles Issue 6:

“It is later in June than I even realized. Time has been blending together like thick banana milkshake and I have been sipping it slowly on the shady porch on these hot summery days. I have wanted to write to you for weeks but in order to write, I must divert all my creative energy and attention to the page. I have been guiding my creativity down many paths lately. One path lead to a wedding at a winery in Afton. Another path was down deep into chilly caverns. Another was within my own inner forest that has been barren and foggy for longer than I hoped for. But now I am where I am supposed to be. I’ve had so much to share but something told me to just keep living for now. I’ve been exhausted by big transitions in a way that sleep cannot fix. The rest of the summer seems like fertile ground to tend to some new seeds tenderly. I hope to continue dissecting and curating lives that feel as good as they look with you despite our physical distance apart. Thankfully, we come together through these letters, comments, messages, phone calls, and voice memos whenever we need to. What a gift that is. What a gift you are.”
