Sun, sand, and Nienke.
We went to the beach, made some images, and somehow ended up with a little fashion editorial.
Not a bad way to spend a day. ☀️

She is soft, but never fragile.
She moves with the wind, yet remains rooted in her power.
A blend of stillness and strength, of light and presence.

This image is more than a photograph to me.
It’s a reminder of what we’ve always known deep within:
That we are allowed to show up, exactly as we are.
That sisterhood is not just a word — it’s a feeling,
a silent knowing that we are held.

There is beauty in simplicity.
Power in softness.
Magic in the moment.

With gratitude for the light, the wind, and the women who brought this frame to life.

This quote emphasizes the importance of taking the first step towards achieving your goals.

Taking the first step is crucial in any journey towards achieving goals. Without beginning, there’s no progress, and without progress, reaching the goal is impossible.

It is the initial action that sets everything in motion, and from there, persistence and effort will lead you closer to your aspirations.

So this is your reminder that success begins with the courage to start. Take action and don’t let your dreams remain unfulfilled.

MEET MY BEAUTIFUL AND STRONG CLIENT NIENKE 👊🏻👸@nine.sophia

“I look and feel so much healthier, I feel better, happier, more confident, safer within my body but most happy I am that it gave me back my life!”

I would like to introduce my amazing clients to show you that everyone has different goals, different motivations and different reasons to seek coaching and start working with me.

-When did you started training at Health and Performance Center Leiden? What was the reason that you started? Why do you continue to do it?

Nienke:
I dont exactly remember what year it was (i think it was 2017) but it was a looong time ago. I was suffering from a (severe) eating disorder and the GGZ forbid me to do any sports. For me, sports was my life and the only thing I could enjoy at that moment. With Mandy I was able to rebuild my intake and the lifting was my motivation to start eating in the beginning. I will always remember the day Mandy said to me: congrats, you have gained enough strength and weight to expand your training to 3 days instead of 2. I was over the mooon!!!
Looking back now I could never have imagined all the “extra’s” it has gotten me: physical as well as mental strength, I really learned to appreciate my body more and what it is capable of (gradually, I sometimes even love it, haha still work in progress), I look and feel so much healthier, I feel better, happier, more confident, safer within my body but most happy I am that it gave me back my life!! Whiiiiiiii 💖
