Inspired by a single image that reveals the impossible and vast beauty of our own backyard, we share Davaar WILD. Drawing directly from the natural palette of Fiordland, we have produced this hand-spun yarn colourway - created to honour this extraordinary place and the indigenous species that depend on it.
Each Davaar Wild jersey carries its own limited edition number and 10% of profits support the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation’s predator control work, helping protect Fiordland’s vital ecosystem, working in conjunction with WithWild.

That’s a wrap on @nzfashionwk !! And what a week it was.

Here’s a little glimpse into some of the highlights, faces, fits and of course delicious bites by @tom_hishon that made the week what it was. From Tiramisu blancs by day, to ‘oyster hour’, espresso martinis, the most insane truffle parm fries and plenty of champagne by night.

A huge thanks to everyone that helped us put on an epic hospitality offering, with special thanks to our front & back of house team of hospo legends, @goodspiritsnz on the bar, @coffee_supreme for helping us keep the runway caffeinated, @royallaboratorie for providing the gorgeous glass & serve-ware, @fiona.hugues for her styling, and to the entire @nzfashionwk team bringing this mammoth event to life celebrating the best of Aotearoa fashion & lifestyle.

Living in harmony with the land and making thoughtful use of the raw materials around us has always been a big part of my life.

That’s why I believe wholeheartedly in what the Macdonald family are doing at Davaar Station: taking a natural fibre grown on their farm and giving it lasting value through strong wool garments made with care, purpose and respect for the land.

It’s an approach we share at @withwild_ — looking at the whole picture, valuing the natural resources available to us, and supporting the very real conservation work required to protect Fiordland: a place that connects WithWild and Davaar, and belongs to all of us.

It’s the worst weather, but I’ve got the best knit! When my daughter asked for a matching jumper I knew I had hit peak style. There’s a natural alignment between @davaar.nz and @withwild_ . Both are rooted in Fiordland, shaped by the landscape, and committed to making products with genuine provenance. Quality, simplicity and respect for the source never go out of style. Look forward to a long friendship with with legends at Davaar.
