On July 25, 2026 we turned the tracks into a runway for The Seed Wants to Grow- a collective runway at @bigsurprise.studio featuring over 20 artists, designers and models

On July 25th, the railway will become the runway. Join us as we transform the decommissioned rail tracks behind @bigsurprise.studio into a runway show!

Organized around themes from New Affection’s ongoing 2026 collection, a multi-disciplinary cohort of artists will present a collective fashion and art show, with work that honors the seeds we plant and the collective transformation that comes from tending to the changes.

Where does our desire to transform root in us? How do changes grow from a small point to a paradigm shift around us or inside us? What drives the seed to grow?

Starting with the debut of pieces from a summer collection by @newaffection , the runway will feature pieces from 8 other multidisciplinary artists -

*Parking is extremely limited* We encourage you to park in Georgetown and walk over the bridge.
Or the 124 bus stops right across from the building or the 60 will take you into Georgetown and it’s a short walk to big surprise.

Some parking is available on S. Edmunds and S. Alaska
