what a special piece this is! i made her in june after a gentle push from a new friend who wanted something similar to an old piece I had made. but every year I just get better and better in skill and thus more true to myself. so I wanted to take inspiration from it and build upon using my new skills instead of recreate. I really feel as though recently i have accessed a new creative freedom but also I've been doing this for like literally 10 years so it rly didn't come about by accident! very excited to share some other projects soon!

another dichotomous styling! ive been rly into making two bases and then going into divergent directions with the fixins. i think they speak to different people, and i love that no matter what kind of design i make it ends up speaking to someone out there! im always so grateful. thank u all for continously supporting my craft, it really has just allowed me to get better and better. these big pieces can be costly so like it's a p serious contribution!!

anyway. loveee this center weave, it's just vertebrae but flipped back and forth so I've been calling it invertebrate. bc it's inverted! I'm sure its called something else online but i like the wordplay. we'll be seeing a lot of it in my work from now on it's just sooo my style. shoutout to @_qn.jpg_ and Elias!! the cat!! adding to my collection of cats wearing my chains 😼 ⛓️ so so cute

here's nine freaking pieces i made a while ago! i have been making stuff but not posting because it aches to do so OH how it aches. woe is me. there should be a lamenting emoji. so i can communicate my lament. 🙇‍♀️? idk. these guys are kinda grouped into families in my head, there are some similar pieces w different stylings and then one that i wanted to remake anew with my enhanced lacey skills which are cool. again i feel the tenuous relationship i have w social media enter my practice bc none of these i rly feel excited to post on their own but they are rly great examples of the progression of my style and what u can expect for a mid-range affordable piece if u catch me at a table. i just haven't made a "true" piece in a sec ive been so busyyyy... ah well we have the rest of our lives to make sick chains don't we
also for the sake of minimal effort towards internet security im going by whimsy online now, u can still call me by what u know irl 🐦 . minimal bc i still wanna be silly and beautiful and make a meme abt it. enjoy my chest hair. okay thank uuuu for reading be well and joyous

never slow down, white knuckle angel

im restraining myself from being totally genuine on this one but the gist is that i just get sad! i wish i could make art more and my capacity for things is so much lower and i have a hard time coping with so much pain in the world and the dark months reallyyy impact me and my unyieldingly optimistic hope for a better world wavers but it's what I have and I won't let go of it. been listening to this album a lot! and it's TDOR and I remember everyone so tenderly in my heart even if i never had the chance to meet them. i love being trans it's why I'm still alive and I hope you stay alive with me!!!

⚙️ MOVE THROUGH PAIN ⚙️

hiii here's another true piece! idk about masterwork but once in a while I work masterfully and I feel this piece shows that. I got this sick wartenburg wheel and wanted to build around that. i needed a ring big enough to comfortably mount it in which then provides a structure to play around. constantly fighting against gravity to make the frame for all the fluid chains that arc back and forth is hard but worthh. movement of chains + sm implement = move through pain? idk naming a thing is hard. idk if this is the final place for that wheel tho, this one is beautiful but it doesn't withstand a good ol shake test, the chains get tangled which I don't love but sometimes I gotta make something for my own arts sake and not for the people. ah well. u like my chest hair. we love hairy women here. say thank u to a hairy woman today.

two similies! fun to design functionality first and then find the voice around it. first time ive actually done odins eye im p sure?? good lil bit, i like the tiny tear drop charms. i got them and trusted they'd find a home i was right. i put a lot of trust in my craft idk it's p limited the amount of times i say "i actually can not do this" which sometimes feels like a failure but in reality idk i try and know the limits of chain... and also my self but that one i notice i am less inclined to always ig im still building that connection. but chain i trust! chain i trust.

i don't have much of anything to say these days! i make stuff when i can and also.. i don't make stuff when i can. i live in between commissions and big personal projects and in that space i find a lot of inspiration but less direct motivation. i am a girl who takes her time and let's it slip through her fingers

a little complimentary pair to signal the end of an unintentional hiatus. sometimes! you just don't make. and by you i mean me. and that can be for whatever reason. maybe it is a mundane unwellness. or maybe. we'll i don't know what else but i attached that one bjork quote about creativity that i really like because i think its very relevant and so important to be kind to yourself in those moments! it's a lesson i constantly try to weave into my life. self-compassion and whatnot.

anyway these pieces are another lil case study of doing a lot with a little. spike and hard vs bubbly and light. it's fun! i wore it over my new sweater the other day and it was a fun look w the higher neck on that thang.

We are raising aid for a member of our community as the family grieves an unexpected loss, see @fashion4reparations for more info! Winners announced on 4/22!

I think it's really important when we as individuals have skills that we find ways to use them to better our communities. It's the first raffle I am doing on my own so I'm excited to see how it goes :) Prizes can be adjusted on request and I'll ship them anywhere in the country! (mask chains would have to be local bc i gotta fit u but I'll throw in another treat in the case we can't make that happen) by @wizardmaille

oh it has been so long since my last post but it's not bc i haven't been making things! i have indeed been making things. ironic that i feel most comfortable taking on a lot of chain stuff over break from school when rly that's not what "break" means but idk i just like doing this stuff so much! and i get weird when i dont do it. i barely chain during the winter, i just kinda go into survival mode ig. things are hard but we have each other.
this piece is cool, i don't normally do a lot of e 4 in 1 work but when im asked to make a castley piece for a dress w a boob window i oblige. lena is a real one. so cool. the rings are tightttt there is not a lot of wiggle room so it keeps it's structure v well. also added swords to the side after taking pics bc it looks just so cool that wayy.
