I very rarely capture footage whilst setting up, as we’re usually too busy being hands-on, but here’s a little insight into the transformation from blank canvas to wedding marquee✨ This is only a fraction of the work that goes into a marquee wedding. Installing the marquee and all the production (flooring, power, furniture, draping and technical equipment) can take up to a week, and the de-rig can run for several days afterwards. Throughout both, there will be suppliers, vehicles and equipment working around the site, which is worth being prepared for, particularly if the event is at a private home. None of this is a reason to be deterred; it’s simply the territory that comes with doing something special. With the right team around you, every challenge becomes part of the story, and every decision brings you closer to a day that is entirely your own. A marquee wedding, planned thoughtfully and executed well, is one of the most extraordinary events you can create. It’s personal, it’s ambitious, and when everything comes together, there’s nothing quite like it.
