Over the weekend, we had the complete honour and privilege of flowering for Emily & Dom, at Emily’s family home in the heart of the Somerset countryside. It was a completely exquisite event, planned to perfection by brilliant @gspltd and brought to life by the most wonderful teams of creatives. It was a total joy to be a part of, and one I will remember forever. Thank you E & D, and to your families for trusting us with your vision. And just like that, another wedding season draws to a close ✨ This one feels particularly special. At the beginning of the year, I was at home with a brand new baby, having absolutely no idea what returning to a busy wedding season would look or feel like. Eight months later, I’m looking back at everything we’ve created and feeling incredibly proud. There have been early mornings, late finishes, vans packed to the brim, buckets upon buckets of flowers, huge installations, beautiful venues, private homes, incredible families, changing weather, lots of laughter and a team who have given so much to every single wedding. To our wonderful couples, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with such an important part of your day, for giving us the freedom to create, and for choosing Wizz & Wild. It never feels lost on me that we get to play a small part in some of the biggest days of people’s lives. And to my team, I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved together this season. Coming back to work after having the wee babe in January has been a huge adjustment, and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without the brilliant people (our incredible families included), and fellow suppliers around me. I feel very lucky to work alongside such a talented, hardworking bunch. Now, we move into a slightly slower season. A chance to reset the studio, spend a little more time at home, and begin dreaming up everything that comes next. There are proposals to write, mood boards to create and beautiful 2027 weddings to start designing, as well as our Autumn Gathering here at the farm, which feels like the perfect way to celebrate the changing season. For now though, I’m taking a moment to look back at this summer and feel really, really proud of what we have achieved. I'm not sure where to begin with last weekend, Katie and James' wedding was electric. Not just the atmosphere, the impeccable vibes from the guests or the outrageous dance floor. But there was this feeling of love that pulsated through every part of the day. Whether that was in the morning whilst they got ready with their wedding party, or when one of the guests sang in church with the choir that sent goosebumps through your body. The heart felt speeches that gushed love for their family members or the way that every single guest member never stopped smiling all day, including myself. It was one of those weddings I didn't want to leave, and I'm glad we stayed a little longer because the dance floor rocked by @thewhitekeysuk just got better and better! A love letter to the English garden for G & E ✨ This time last week we adventured with our flowery circus to the enchanting Middleton Lodge Estate, set amongst the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. We created soft, garden-led flowers, delicate movement and an abundance of late-summer ingredients, designed to feel as though they had always belonged there.
