Leading with Purpose & Pride 👑🪖

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Air Force veteran and @wmu_sva Vice President, Samantha Becker, on her nomination to the 2026 WMU Homecoming Court!
As a non-traditional adult learner returning to higher education, Samantha is running on a powerful mission: ensuring that every veteran and adult student knows they have a rightful, valued place on our campus. She perfectly exemplifies the excellence, grit, and leadership of Western’s military-connected community.
🗳️ Voting is live during Homecoming Week from October 1-9. Make sure to cast your ballot and meet the court in person at the major voting kickoff event during the WMU Hockey Opener this Thursday, October 8, inside Lawson Arena!
Join us in backing our VP! Go Broncos! 🤎🐴

💛 Veterans belong in every part of campus life. 🤎

Running for WMU Homecoming Court means more to me than wearing a crown. It’s about showing veterans and military-connected students on our campus that we are here, we are represented, and we belong.

College life doesn’t stop because you served. We deserve to make memories, build friendships, show up to events, cheer on our Broncos, and enjoy everything WMU has to offer. 🐴🎓

So to every veteran who has ever wondered, “Is there still a place for me here?” — there is.

Come out. Get involved. Make the memories. Find your people. 💛

🗳️ Vote for WMU Homecoming Court now through October 9!

And while you’re at it, come celebrate Homecoming with us! 👑🐴
