“…now is the time of monsters,” and it’s at this time—between the death of the old world and the birth of the new—that we must ignore the desire to hide and flood the zone with our best selves (which, admittedly I’m finding difficult to do).

Without further ado.. My new single One Last Time will be out on all streaming platforms on 3/19!!! 🔂

I have never been more emotional and put more of myself throughout the process of a release. So many pieces have fallen into place to finally bring this brain child of mine into existence. I can’t wait for you all to experience it.🖤

So here’s an inside scoop on creating the visual language for One Last Time. More to come!!! 😭

Some John Coltrane playing in the background, a lot of film, a little bit of digital, the one and only @rebebechen, and let’s not forget the legendary @wole.

Would you believe that sometimes I’d rather get the behind the scenes photos as opposed to doing the actual session. There’s sort of a rawness to the photos that gives a little more context to a shoot. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a ton of bts photos for a few documentaries and it has always been cool experience.

Anywho… Have a wonderful Friday.

Something different than my usual feed. Shots captured yesterday, no editing #SOOC. This was exactly the kind of day I needed to spur my creativity 💚 Thank you @wole for always being down for a 📷 walk. ⁣

Summer daze with @wole exploring the wonderment of @glenstonemuseum, sipping hibiscus lemonade and weaving through the forest ~ with his gorgeous medium format camera. The art of play was in full force as we framed each shot, having to counter the full missy elliot flipping and reversing of the viewfinder.

This one is my favorite from the day yet there are so many that I loved. I’m so grateful for friends that bring out the kid in me. Love you Wole! So grateful you’re part of my life!

It is almost uncountable how many things have changed since this time in every aspect of life. This photography outing experience with @wole last year was one that I hold dear to my heart & am forever re-inspired by. If you haven’t seen his work, please go check @wole out. I am consistently amazed by the blend of beauty and purpose that comes through in each of his posts.
