Inheemse dinee 💫

We say goodbye to all our Heemies leaving our house next year. Many awards (funny and serious) were awarded to our Heemies that excell in various ways. We enjoyed a final performance from the outgoing HC but shed a tear for their accountability partner speeches.

We revisited the moment of awe, which takes place during welcoming. Instead of receiving personalised letters from their guardians, they instead received ones from their best friends in residence. The evening ended off with them retrieving their first-year photo from the family wall and singing a final house song in the quad 💙

Thank you @wonkiware for graciously donating the gifts to our outgoing HC 🤍

Rain outside, coffee in bed, and nowhere else to be.

As the days turn cooler, we’re looking forward to slow mornings, warm cups, soft quilts, and the simple joy of staying tucked in a little longer.

Here’s to the season of getting cozy, one rainy morning at a time. 🤍

EK IS NONNA 🐾

Our first ever Pup Portrait on a Plate — and I’m not sure I’ve enjoyed making something this much in a while.

Hand-painted at @the.pottery on a @wonkiware plate, glazed and fired, which means this isn’t a print or a file. It’s a real object that’ll outlive all of us and end up on someone’s wall or dresser for the next forty years.

The subject needs no introduction, but here she is anyway: the gorgeous Nonna of @life_with_nonna_and_phoebe, in the devoted care of dog mom Christine Keller of @skinstitutesa 🧡

There’s something about a dog’s face in a single colour on a ceramic plate. All the fuss strips away and you’re left with the expression — which, in Nonna’s case, is roughly “yes, I know.”

P.S. — Phoebe, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that your plate conversation has already started and I take commissions. Please don’t make this weird 😅

⏰ Last call on the pet portraits. The Buy One, Gift One offer closes this Friday, 9 October, at midnight. Four slots left, and when they’re gone or Friday hits — whichever comes first — that’s it.

☀️ Viking meets Teletubby Sun Baby. 🔥🧔‍♂️

Behold Lord Liam Chimes — @stunbrick — immortalised in glaze.

A collab with @the.pottery + @wonkiware, and probably my favourite thing I’ve painted all year. 🎨🍽️

Put that in your pot(tery) and smoke it.

Handwerk & Kultur.

Schreib‘ uns gerne. Wir beraten dich und versenden gerne. 📦
