30 DAYS. WHAT A RIDE. 🤍 When we dreamed up The Archives, we knew we wanted to create something special. These first 30 days have brought us more than we ever could have imagined! Thousands of amazing customers have walked through our doors. Some have already become familiar faces (Hi Linda!), while others have traveled from near and far to discover us. Every visit, kind word, share, and recommendation means more than you know! ✨ One of our biggest goals has always been to make antiques and vintage finds accessible. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to hunt for unique pieces to make their homes beautiful, and we work hard to keep our prices approachable so everyone can enjoy the thrill of finding something special. Just as important is the experience itself. We want The Archives to feel warm, welcoming, and inviting, a place to wander, discover something unexpected, and feel right at home. Come inside our Lincoln Project. A full tour of this very special home. I could honestly write a novel with every post from this house, there was so much thought and detail that went into every part of it. This was a full-home remodel, addition, and furnishings project, and while I love sharing all the beautiful details, one of my favorite parts is the way we reworked the layout and interior architecture of the home. From the pantry vestibule that now creates a beautiful transition between the kitchen and dining room, to the library we carved out of what was once a blank box, to the new primary suite with its own hallway, so much of what makes this home special is in the way the spaces were planned and how they flow together. More from the Lincoln Project today—and quite possibly everyone’s favorite room in the house: the library. We wanted this room to feel a little moodier and more enveloping than the rest of the home. The deeper color is a richer take on tones carried throughout the house, giving the library its own identity while still feeling connected to everything around it. The woodwork and rolling ladder bring a sense of craftsmanship and permanence, while the doors allow the room to feel tucked away and intimate. But what really makes it are the books. The clients sourced hundreds of vintage books, choosing ones they would actually want to pull from the shelves and read, giving the room the collected, authentic feeling we envisioned from the beginning. What a day! 🤍 Yesterday’s Grand Opening of The Archives + Mercantile Market was beyond anything we could have imagined. The doors opened at 10 AM to a long line of beautiful people waiting to come in and shop! The outdoor market stayed buzzing throughout the day with such fun collectors, makers and food + treats! A huge thank you once again to everyone who came out to shop, browse, support and celebrate with us. To our incredible vendors who filled the market with so many amazing finds, to our family and friends who have supported us every step of the way…we are so grateful for every one of you.
