Good times in Philly with Working Wellness Yoga! Gaby Evers brought in a team to Philadephia Public Schools to offer teachers massage, healthy eats, and a relaxation station complete with tips on yoga, mindfulness, breath work and aromatherapy. So fun to get to show up in person rather than my usual on-line offerings for WWY and see first hand the magic that this company is up to - spreading a little bit of care and relaxation to folks who rarely put themselves first.

The Virtual Studio Tour was 30 different workout platforms in 30 days. And this reel shows you the 30 workouts in less than 30 seconds.

This weekend on the blog, I’m giving you the scoop on all 30 platforms. I’m also letting you know which programs I am continuing with now that the month is over. Oh and I’m awarding my “FFML Awards” to a bunch of the programs that stood out for me!
Check it out and you’ll want to save this list! (be on the look out 👀 for some discount codes in there too)

Day 7 ✅ I asked my friends at @workingwellnessyoga if they could teach a live virtual class so that I could highlight the exceptional things this company is doing in connection to wellness and yoga for all. Today @gabyevs led the most perfect Sunday morning class. There were a lot of feel good stretches, detoxifying twists, and some challenging balance poses at the end. After a week long of workouts, this was just what I needed this morning.

@workingwellnessyoga is a local company that started by @amyorcutt and @gabyevs during the pandemic to bring yoga, mindfulness and wellness to organizations’ employees who were stuck working from home. From this amazing idea, WWY has grown to include nutrition, Pilates, wellness retreats, pop-ups and an on demand video library, in addition to the heart of their business, which is to bring yoga to everyone from anywhere! Check them out www.workingwellnessyoga.com

(And they are a BlueCross BlueShield wellness vendor now, so your wellness costs can be covered!)

I’ve been doing yoga with @workingwellnessyoga for a few years. I started my own yoga practice when Amy was getting her yoga certification and she offered to teach yoga from her driveway. So she is the reason why I made yoga part of my life. 🧘🏻‍♀️🙏🏻 And I love to go on @workingwellnessyoga retreats. The next one is scheduled for February so stay tuned— I highly recommend treating yourself to this special day.

Working Wellness Yoga’s Rushton Retreat is one of my favorite days of the year. This time, I brought my mom with me. We enjoyed yoga flow with Amy and Gaby, sound bath meditation, the most delicious and healthy lunch and a sunbathed afternoon walk through the grounds of the Rushton Farm and Woods Preserve.

Stay tuned for another @workingwellnessyoga retreat later this winter. It’s the best way to spend an afternoon.

If you can meditate here, you can meditate anywhere! Truth: I was practically hyperventilating and had to crawl like a baby to get into this spot on the glass levitating over NYC at The Edge! This city is one of my soul homes. The humans here are amazing and here too, I feel the longing of a place where I feel like I belong, but don't anymore. The energy and creativity feels so alive and motivating. Summer of 50 so far has been all about exploration, reconnection, joy and inspiration. And gentleness amidst chaos. These things can actually coexist. Life is good and joy is possible right here, right now! #meditateanywhere #meditateeverywhere #elevate #staygrounded #beherenow #carpediem #remember #connection #inspiration #meditation #mindfulness #leanintodiscomfort #youcandoit #yougotthis #joy #peace #greatestcityintheworld #iloveny #theedge #eastcoast #eastcoastgirl #thisis50 #nofear #alllove #love #courage #fun #iloveyouireallydo #hellowellnesstherapy #keepgoing @gabyevs @workingwellnessyoga

Thank you @amandaferraio and @workingwellnessyoga for putting on a beautiful child-mother yoga class today at The Willows. My favorite part was Shavasana snuggles. 🥰

Special thank you to @sweetgreen and @studiofloramainline for providing treats for the moms. The kids got to pick and present a flower to their mama. 🌸

Check out some of the tricks mom/daughter duos did during class! 👏🏻
