Health benefits of quercetin: you’re not overtrained, you’re
underprotected.
Hard training adds stress. Your recovery needs backup.
I’m Travis, a longevity and strength coach for athletes over 40. This
is ingredient 8 of 15 in the DoNotAge 15-in-1 longevity sachet.
• Quercetin is a plant flavonoid found in onions, apples and berries.
• It supports a healthy inflammatory response and normal immune
function.
• It also works as an antioxidant and supports the senolytic side of
the routine.

Save this for your next deload week.

Resveratrol supplement: you’re not aging fast, you’re just not
protecting your cells.
Training, stress and poor recovery add up. Your cells need defense,
not just effort.
I’m Travis, a longevity and strength coach for athletes over 40. This
is ingredient 6 of 15 in the DoNotAge 15-in-1 longevity sachet.
• Resveratrol is a plant compound found in grape skins, famous
from the red wine story.
• It supports sirtuins, the same longevity proteins as SIRT6.
• The trans form is the one most studied, and it pairs with NMN in
the routine.
Send this to the training partner who says he’s just getting old.

Zone 2 training vs. rest for HRV recovery: the only thing I’m changing.

Plan B starts now:
• Zone 2 cardio, 45 to 60 minutes most days
• Classes as normal
• HIIT capped at 1 to 2 times a week, only on well-recovered days
• No combat sports while the knee heals

HIIT is in both plans, so it can’t decide the result. The one variable is the added zone 2 volume. That’s what I’m testing against the AI’s rest plan.

One change, tracked daily, judged on day 14.

Follow to see who wins.

6 weeks into my LCL recovery and this is the part nobody posts.

Everyone shares the injury and the comeback. Almost nobody shows the weeks in between, which are the recovery treatments, the laser therapy, the acoustic wave therapy, the compression, and the showing up when nothing looks exciting.

This week’s milestone: I can now get into positions that put direct pressure on my LCL without pain. A few weeks ago that wasn’t possible.

Recovery after 40 isn’t about hype. It’s stacking small wins, week after week, and being honest about the process. Chapter 4 of The Comeback.

What’s the hardest part of recovery for you: the pain, the patience, or the consistency? Tell me below 👇

AI health advice test: same HRV numbers, two opposite answers.

HRV 86. Resting heart rate 48. Same numbers on two different mornings.
Oct 13, AI said: “Delayed load is coming.”
Oct 16, AI said: “You respond well to volume.”

Same data. Opposite meanings.

Then I pushed back and told it the rest plan wasn’t working. It didn’t hold its position. It rebuilt the plan around what I said.

That’s the problem: if a tool folds the moment you disagree, it’s agreeing with you, not reading your data.

Save this before your next AI health question.

Mike Malott knocked out Joaquin Buckley with a knee at 2:32 of Round 2 in the UFC Edmonton main event, and he set it up a full round earlier.

Here’s how he did it:

•He pinned Buckley on the fence and dug knees to the body. Buckley got used to seeing that knee.
•They broke back to range and Buckley tried to come forward.
•As Buckley came in low, Malott stepped in and timed the knee. Mouthpiece out, down, one shot on the mat, over.

The lesson for your own training: the strike that finishes the fight usually gets set up somewhere else first. Show it in the clinch, then catch them with it when they come in on the open floor.

Save this for your next striking session, and send it to the training partner who always ducks in low.

Sunday Scouting Report: one UFC finish, broken down, every week. Follow so you don’t miss the next one.

The clinch work or the timing: what won this fight? Tell me below.

Ran into @walmart Walmart for one thing. Left with lava cake plans.
@legion Legion is officially on Walmart shelves, so tonight’s dessert does double duty:
✅ ~35g protein
✅ 1 mug, 90 seconds, no oven
✅ Peanut butter lava center
Most guys over 40 I coach come up short on protein by the end of the day. This fixes that and still feels like a cheat meal.
Comment LAVA and I’ll DM you the full recipe card.
Made with Legion Plant+ Dutch Chocolate (Whey+ works too). I’m a

Vitamin D and K2 benefits: where your calcium actually goes.
Calcium and D3 get it in. K2 helps send it to your bones.
I’m Travis, a longevity and strength coach for athletes over 40. This
is ingredient 10 of 15 in the DoNotAge 15-in-1 longevity sachet.
• K2 activates proteins that help direct calcium into your bones.
• It works with D3: D3 helps you absorb calcium, K2 helps send it
where it belongs.
• MK-7 is the long-lasting form of K2.
Send this to anyone who takes vitamin D on its own.

Sulforaphane benefits: you’re not low energy, your system is
overloaded.
Stress, processed food, training load. It stacks up, and your body
has to clear it.
I’m Travis, a longevity and strength coach for athletes over 40. This
is ingredient 12 of 15 in the DoNotAge 15-in-1 longevity sachet.
• Sulforaphane comes from broccoli and broccoli sprouts.
• It switches on Nrf2, your body’s own antioxidant and detox
pathway.
• Getting a meaningful amount from food alone is hard, which is
why it’s in the sachet.
Send this to the friend who’s always running on empty.

Why is my HRV dropping? I asked AI. It gave me 5 different answers in 10 days.

October 6 to October 16, here’s how the explanation kept changing:
1. Sleep debt
2. A late meal
3. An illness coming on
4. Delayed load from a double class
5. Hot yoga

Every one sounded certain. Every one ended in the same advice: more recovery.

Low HRV has a lot of possible causes. An answer that changes every few days is a guess, not a diagnosis.

Has AI ever flip-flopped on you? Tell me below.

Vitamin D3 benefits for people who work indoors all day.
Office, car, gym, home. Count how many minutes of real sun you
got today.
I’m Travis, a longevity and strength coach for athletes over 40. This
is ingredient 11 of 15 in the DoNotAge 15-in-1 longevity sachet.
• D3 supports normal immune function, bone health and muscle
function.
• Your skin makes it from sunlight, which most desk workers don’t
get much of.
• It’s paired with K2 in the routine.
