![What makes a DILF ‘O THE DAY?
This🔥
How you do anything is how you do everything
Creating conditions of safety for children starts with being self-aware enough to recognize how our actions impact their experience
Children deserve the freedom to be children
To enjoy the football game
To celebrate
To have fun
To know the adults around them can manage the adult stuff
They don’t have to carry the emotional responsibility of keeping the peace between the people they love
Because when children repeatedly become responsible for creating safety for adults, those patterns don’t disappear when childhood ends
They become deeply embodied — shaping how we experience relationships, conflict, responsibility and safety long after we leave the environment where they began…
Creating physiological safety can be as simple as making the intentional choices Chad describes here:
🌊 What does my child see?
🌊 What does my child feel?
🌊 What experience do I want to create for them?
Creating conditions of safety for children isn’t only about what they experience today
It’s about what they don’t have to carry forward in their mind/body 🙏🏻
[Re]frame Pain. [Re]lease Shame. [Re]claim Power.
Creating conditions of safety leads to better outcomes where humans thrive — not just barely survive
Personal. Professional. Romantic.

![The two addictions I still struggle with the most:
Coffee & Rage ☕️🤬
But Only Music Can Save Us 🤙🏻
Me talking to my now, ex-husband 💀
And I wondered why I wasn’t motivating him to work with me as a partner🤪
I terrified him. Rightfully so
Turns out Machiavelli had it wrong
It is NOT ‘far safer to be feared than loved’
The human nervous system doesn’t thrive in unsafe environments. It prioritizes finding safety over the task at hand
Blinding you with science 🔥🧬🧠
The scary part?
My soul is really a lover, not a fighter
But also ‘don’t push me cause I’m close to the edge’
Maria von Trapp to Slim Shady real fcking quick
But never Slim Shady to children ❤️🔥
For decades, I couldn’t reconcile the monster within with the parts of me filled with pure love
Nervous System Literacy helped me understand that we don’t create lasting change by shaming or compartmentalizing the parts of ourselves we hate
We love them into feeling safe and integrate them wholly
[Re]frame Pain. [Re]lease Shame. [Re]claim Power.
☕ This week on Coffee & Rage: Feeling is Healing — how to get the rage out without ending up in jail, because the beast is always lurking 👿
🔥 WANT TO JOIN ME FOR COFFEE & RAGE?
If you’ve struggled with rage, found ways to keep the beast at bay or have a story about learning to work with your own anger, DM me about being a guest.
