It’s me, your destination wedding photographer!!!

I’m so grateful for the places this job has taken me and the people I’ve met along the way. Every opportunity has brought me to a new corner of the world, but more than that, it’s given me memories I’ll carry forever.

So far I’ve photographed in Ireland, South Africa, Italy, Portugal, Peru, Spain, Croatia, Tanzania, Bali, Scotland, and all around the country.

A few places still on my heart: Greece, Iceland, Morocco, New Zealand, Australia, Patagonia, Sicily, and Japan.

My love for travel runs deep. If you’re planning a wedding, elopement, retreat, or session in any of these places, or somewhere else that feels meaningful to you, I’d love to hear about it. There’s still so much of the world to see.

I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead, the places I’ll go and the people I’ll meet. But it all started with the places I’ve been and the people I’ve met.

And even when there is mess, muck, and moods, if enough attention is channeled somewhere, if you’re really looking, there is beauty to be found.

As if beauty becomes the balm to a hazy, foggy eye.

Beauty not as we may know it to be true, tied up in mascara and luxury, polished and packaged but the kind that reveals itself through the natural elements. Earth beneath our feet, water circulating, air twirling, fire lighting and alivening.

Perhaps this is part of the “why”.

On retreat, we slow down enough to reorient our gaze. To gently retrain the eyes, the body, the nervous system, away from urgency and fragmentation, and toward noticing.

Because it’s one thing to feel held in beauty when you’re surrounded by it intentionally…
and another to find it in the cracks of everyday life.

I can’t believe it’s already been a month since our retreat in Morocco.🍊 Coming home from these retreats always takes integration time before I’m ready to share pics and words.

Every retreat we have ran has had a different feel to it depending on the uniqueness of the group, energy of the location, and the season I find myself in. I would sum this retreat up as: light, expansive, and feminine. ✨

We danced in the rain, laughed (so hard I got my asthma (daily!)), challenged our comfort zones, learned from one another, embraced Moroccoan traditions, nourished our bodies & cycles, released some societal conditioning around “rest”, and walked away a more aligned version of ourselves.

I am so grateful for every woman who pushed past all the reasons not to and said “yes” to meeting us in Morocco. You will forever hold a place in my heart. Grateful for our @lavidasurfretreats team for the smooth coordination & the place we called “home”. Grateful for my family & friends back home supporting my dreams. SOOSOOOO grateful for my forever soul sister @caroline_sherratt for holding this vision, for walking the path, for expanding me, and for creating Worlds Together, together. And lastly, this passion that has been place on my heart. 🫶🏼

It’s magic to be a woman. I’d choose it in every lifetime

Not because it’s easy. It’s not. It’s teeth and tension and carrying more than we’re supposed to. It’s being asked to bend without breaking and somehow doing both.

But look at what we make out of that.

We take the painful moments and turn them into something light. We laugh when it would be easier not to. We hold each other together in quiet, unspoken ways. We bleed, we build, we keep going.

We are tough as hell. And still, somehow, soft as heaven.

And I’d choose it in every lifetime.

The kind of week that stays etched in your memory. A felt sense travelling home with us. Time spent noticing the space between words. A special remembering of the beauty. Even when it’s all noise outside (or within), wind and rattles, there’s always a wildflower to be found perched brightly to the sun or a tree growing up and between stone walls.

Thank you for holding us Morocco. 🤍

When I was six, I was wild and free.
Montana wind tangling my hair, grass-stained toes,
no instinct yet to shrink.

Then I grew.
And somewhere along the way,
I learned how to fold myself—
smaller, softer, easier to hold.

But the girl didn’t leave.
She just waited.

And now that my Saturn has returned,
she’s back.

Not polished.
Not patient.
Not asking.

Morocco shook her loose in me
in the salt, the sun,
in the kind of women who don’t flinch at your fullness.

And I remembered,
she’s still in my bones.

Even as they stretch,
change,
bruise,
break.

They remember her.

I will always be her.

Modern travel has become fast paced, all about how much we can see, do and tick off.

True travel is in the slowing down, to the rhythm of the land, the people and the essence.

What if the real travel was slowing down enough to observe and absorb it all?

Plus how regulating for your cycle?!😉

it’s safe to say that San Diego has transmuted all of the hurt and heartbreak that I came here with on July 24, 2023. This beautiful, magical place has helped to alchemize all of that pain - the sun has lit my soul on fire in the best ways, the ocean has healed my inner landscape, the community I have built has served as a mirror to help me see my true gifts and beauty. I’m so thankful for my friends, colleagues, and my now family for always creating such a warm, loving, supportive environment for me. For holding me through big changes and more heartbreak, even still. I’m so grateful to have continued to heal and learn through love and for all the experiences and growth that relationship brought me. The work I have done as a pediatric PT for the perfect babies and families of this community and the adolescents experiencing chronic pain has by far been the most rewarding, heart-warming, playful, and eye-opening work I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing. What a privilege to be let into the lives of these kiddos and families, I am blown away by the strength, love, and passion that I see in these homes. This city is SO MAGICAL. So full of creativity, playfulness, adventure, joy, health, and community. I’ve poured into myself more than ever during my time here. I met myself, truly. Thank you to the wonderful yoga/wellness spaces of OB and beyond, my BREATH, safe containers all over the world to rest and find myself (@worlds.together), friends who share their gifts and encourage me to share mine, and for all the strangers and friends alike who helped me get to exactly where I am today. San Diego, this community, and all of my experiences here have shown me I’m capable of my wildest dreams and I deserve to live authentic to my truest form. 🎸🌊🌞🧘🏼‍♀️🏄🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️⛰️

All this to say, I’m living out one of my life’s biggest dreams and I BOUGHT A VAN. I’ll be leaving SD and beginning full time van life/travel PT end of Feb 🤩 wooohooo! I’m so excited to see where this takes me and all of the wonderful corners of the US and the world I will see. San Diego and all the wonderful humans here - I’ll be back for you. 💛 I can’t stay away forever, it’s too dang good.

The rain settled in today so I’m inside tucked beside the fire blending together ideas, thoughts and feelings for Morocco. 2 feet where I am yet also infusing intention into what’s to come 🤎𖤓𖤓

I can’t quite tell you how Morocco will feel, that’s for you to experience but from having gathered with women in different countries, landing away from the confined structures of daily routine, soaking in a new way of life, people and rituals, seems to offer a wonderful sense of enchantment. I’ve found there to be steady seeds of trust and inspiration to flow in.

We have 5 arms wide open spots remaining for Morocco next year in March 🇲🇦✨✨ Sing out with any curiosities 💭
