And just like that - my baby is at university. My fiercely independent, incredible daughter is starting her next chapter and I couldn’t be prouder. I’m going to miss her so much though - what am I going to do?!

Autumn weddings deserve more than pumpkin spice…

Rich colours, seasonal flavours and beautiful textures make autumn and winter wonderful seasons to create for.

If you’re planning a wedding later this year, I still have selected dates available.

So, if you thought you might have left it too late, it is worth asking.

And yes, the contact form is still the best place to find me. We know how good DMs are at hiding. ;0)

Following on from my post last week, I’ve had a lot of coaches messaging me asking how you actually keep showing up online without becoming part of the noise yourself.

And honestly, I think this is the part people outside the industry don’t always understand.

When you are a coach building a business online with integrity, your content is rarely “just content”.

You are putting your perspective, your experiences, your beliefs, your personality and often parts of your own story into what you create. So when things completely flop, when nobody engages, when the algorithm buries something you genuinely cared about, it does affect you more than people realise.

I think that’s partly why so many people eventually fall into performative marketing. It feels safer to copy what is already working than keep risking being seen properly.

But the irony is that audiences are becoming incredibly good at sensing what is real and what is manufactured.

People are tired of polished personas. Tired of fake certainty. Tired of content that sounds like it was generated to perform rather than connect.

The coaches I see building real longevity right now are usually the ones willing to sound human. The ones saying something honest even when it would be easier to just follow the formula.

Pamela from @worsley_creative said recently that the people standing out now are the ones demonstrating radical authenticity and I honestly think she’s right.

It took me years of showing up, adding value and being radically authentic to get to where I am now. I can help you if you’re stuck - drop me a message.

Tell me I’m not the only one who’s swapped late nights out for slow evenings in… and honestly, no regrets.

Share this with a bestie who you love to hang out with 🍸

Our very first Members Retreat at the beautiful @sheepdrove is complete 💚

We cannot thank our members enough for taking the time out of their businesses to come and be a part of this. We had everything from sustainable marketing, impact reporting, biodiversity training, wine tasting, an industry round table, B-Corp bootcamp - plus a LOT of delicious food and time to connect with each other ☺️

Another huge thank you to the amazing @sheepdrove for creating the most wonderful atmosphere for us all and letting us take over your venue for a few days ❤️

We will be sharing loads more from last week, plus all the action points we have taken away from the retreat (so many exciting things to come!) 🙌

All I can say is…
Sign me up for the next one! 🤩

The @sustainableweddingallianceuk Members Only Retreat was the 2 days away from my business I didn’t know I needed! 🙏🏾
Reconnecting with nature, with people and thriving with my tribe!✨

It was an absolute refresh, I learnt so much, laughed so hard and pushed my own limits to challenge myself in multiple ways 💪🏾🫶🏾

Thank you to the SWA for the best time, for the professional development with absolute industry experts @worsley_creative and @therussavery 📚 - for the completely delicious vegan meals (which surprisingly, I LOVED!) 🌱 and all the gorgeous wine and good vibes! 🍷

As an ambassador for the SWA I went up early for the Ambassador day and then stayed for the first day of the retreat. Unfortunately I missed the second day and the FOMO was real! 🫣🤣

Now I know there are some wedding suppliers out there trying to do better and bumbling their way through it, nothing and I mean NOTHING beats the support of the SWA. 🙌🏾
It’s not just about the planet! We aren’t all tree huggers (although there was some questionable tree hugging during the retreat! 👀🤣)!
We get up to date marketing training, business finance training, social value training, wedding industry insights and so much more all with a deep foundation in sustainability. 🌍
So if you’re looking for business development and making your business better in EVERY way. Then shoot me a DM and I’ll hook you up with the best thing that ever happened to 4YaParty! 💜
As my son would say - No Cap! 🧢 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

When a Millefoglie or giant Tiramisu is created live at a wedding, the experience works best when venues feel confident about how it all unfolds.

I work closely with events teams in advance - advising on timing, space, flow and service - so live desserts sit seamlessly within the rhythm of the day.

This was an introduction to the Millefoglie for the events team at The Ned, in London, exploring how it works in practice and how it can be delivered with ease, clarity and consideration for their clients.

With thanks to @worsleycreative, who joined me on the day and was generously available to the team during the demonstration.

For venues, it’s about reassurance and collaboration.

For couples, it simply becomes effortless.

New here? Follow for more Italian-inspired wedding cakes and alternative showpiece desserts (Millefoglie, giant Tiramisù and more), created in Oxfordshire and delivered across the UK and beyond.

Currently taking bookings for in-person tastings on 24 and 25 January 2026 - please get in touch for more information.

Today we came to Largs to scatter the remainder of Mum and Dad’s ashes together. It was one of their favourite places and this was one of my Dads last wishes.

I miss them both more than I can ever say.

My job is pretty much done now Dad. Just the house to finalise and I’ll have kept my promise. I hope more than anything that I’ve made you proud.
