😂 Is this the WORST record cover in the world?

Meet Steve Goldman, the man who's collected around 700 of the world's most wonderfully awful record sleeves!

I caught up with Steve for Cheshire's Mix 56, and he showed me this absolute masterpiece. 😂

Exhibition of Ladybird books and Worst Record Covers. Fantastic combination. Fun day out.

Featuring a selection of my favourite Ladybird books from the exhibition. I still have my set of 'What to look for' seasonal books. Wish I still had my copy of Cinderella. The image of her running down the country lane after midnight still haunts me.

Some fabulous record covers, sharing a few of my favourites. Unfortunately none of these albums were available to use as insta audio. (apart from Dolly Obvs)
Was disappointed/relieved not to see any records I own in the display.
But was pleased with the display pairing of Dolly and Miss Piggy.

I just got back from Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland! I performed with @babywantscandy and @shamilton_musical. Truly an incredible time meeting incredible friends. And shout out to the AP & PT staff that makes it all possible, couldn't have survived without ya! More pics on the way!

In a true Scottish museum experience fashion- it’s weird and wonderful and it’s FREE! You can find the @worstrecordcovers collection selflessly exhibited for your discerning eyes at Assembly’s Studios Bar (Assembly George square studios).

This is also a great spot to hide from the weather, get some less overwhelming, less stimulating time in the students’ lounge, or take advantage of the nice warm clean bathrooms 😌 (this is not me telling you to get down to something freaky, but also not telling you not to?)

Barbara Cartland, Lionel Blair, Saunas, Beckett, Peperamis: the second installment of my Edinburgh Festival diary is in today’s Herald, and also online at the link in bio, with fleeting but nonetheless loved-up nods to Morag Fullarton’s ever glorious Doris, Dolly and the Dressing Room Divas at @gildedballoon; stunning productions Cathy and The Singer at @traversetheatre; Edinburgh Art Festival’s righteous celebration of Sandra George; erotic ice-hockey (isn’t it always); sing-a-long bureaucracy send-ups; Edinburgh International Festival’s rain-defying promenade party in Princes St Gardens… Also, some excellent Pizza…

Fellow illustrators and graphic designers, here’s two must see exhibitions at @mansfieldmuseum

First up go and soak up some of the World’s Worst Record Sleeves. There was bloke proper laughing out loud at some of them. It was weird, hilarious and good fun. Took lots of pictures of some lovely fonts.

Then head over to the ‘Wonderful world of Ladybird Book Artists’ exhibition. I grew up with all my granny’s ladybird books so this was so nostalgic and pure joy.

Always support your local cultural institutions! These were free to look round and such great quality. Feeling inspired!

Sunniside Nights 2026 — Official

One month since Sunniside Nights (@sunnisidenights) graced the neighbourhood! 🤯

Can you believe it’s been that long already?! We can’t. The energy and creativity on show was next level!
At least it’s only 48 more weeks until the next one... 😅

We’ve gathered a few highlights from that night to relive the buzz and share the people that made it unforgettable 📸

Let us know though, what was your favourite moment of the night?

Great to see this article from today’s @guardian about @worstrecordcovers which had such a great reaction when we exhibited a part of the collection @movinggallerysunderland last week.
