What a morning! Thank you to everyone who came out for our July General Member Meeting, and a big thank you to Julie Wright of (W)right On Communications for a talk that gave us so much to think about. Julie presented a masterclass on “How to Make Your Mission Discoverable in the Age of AI Answers,” unpacking how search itself is changing. People often get their answer straight from an AI summary now and never click through, so Julie walked us through practical ways to update our SEO and our own habits to match how the bots actually pull information. Her big point: keeping your brand consistent across platforms matters more than ever, because that is how your information stays high-quality and accurate wherever it shows up. She also made the case for an internal AI policy every employee knows and works from, so you can stay transparent with your clients. We touched on the environmental impact of AI, managed versus unmanaged AI, and a few ways to train your AI platform of choice to follow the rules you set. We walked away with real, actionable items to bring back to our businesses. This is exactly what Business For Good membership is about, so consider this your sign to join us. Purpose-driven entrepreneurs learning, growing, and thriving together! Thanks again to Julie and all the members who shared the room with us.
