And as intense and commanding as Grayson is, there’s something undeniably protective about him. He sees Lexi.. not just her strength, but her exhaustion and gives her the care she’s deserved all along.

Sensual, emotional, and layered with tension, this was a 4-star read for me. I can’t wait to continue their story in the next book.

This book has A LOT of heavy topics and I cried pretty much the whole time. My heart was seriously breaking for all of the characters, but I am really happy with how it ended.

I loved the age gap (12 years) 🤌🏼

Also, I can't express how much I love a moment where he picks her up and she warns, "I'm heavy", but he just says, "You're perfect"! 💗💗
