POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The larrikin persona is one thing. The story underneath? That’s something else entirely. Dana Da Silva explores the honesty and heart behind Davey Lloyd’s Tin Man — a memoir that doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff. Out October 2026!

Sensitivity… the all-time greatest superpower 💛

As a kid, I was always fascinated by the smallest details… the light hitting a leaf a certain way, the texture of my mum’s skin, little creatures in the grass, the energy when you enter a room full of joy.

And I think that’s why I’m now so drawn to photographing women.

Because I get to capture the aliveness in the details you might not even notice yourself.

The way you move. A shift in expression. Softness, strength or playfulness that shows up when you forget the camera is there.

The subtlety that makes you, you!

And, I don’t want you to look at your photographs and just think, I look good.

I want you to look at them and think: There I am.🥹💛

I didn’t plan it this way…

But somewhere along my own journey of learning to feel more free and safe in my own body, I’ve created a space where other women can do the same.

And for me, it’s the most beautiful journey to be a part of!

To create images with women moving through transitions, dissolving old identities and expanding into new ones, creating businesses, creating life!

Whatever brings you here, these photography sessions are a space to get creative, think big, feel free, dance, play, and let yourself be seen.

Guided, held, completely judgement-free. 🫶

When you’re living in your zone of genius, it seems like everything starts to flow… and you find you’re suddenly supported in ways that you couldn’t quite imagine before.

There’s a quiet confidence that pulls you forward in a direction that may not be clear at the time, but if you’re open to it, the unfolding is usually pretty spectacular..💫

That feminine urge to slip into dark waters in a silk dress …

I’m here for the art making, to encourage what feels daring, and let your wild explore! What an honour 💘

True story. You open my camera roll and it’s just gallery after gallery of women being art 🥹

It’s actually silly how many beautiful images I’ve been hoarding and it’s time to set them free!

Operator 56 author @lucia_domenica_ is 75,000 words into Pyrotechnic Rockstar - a biography of her partner Vince. To say he had an interesting life is an understatement!! The words tumble out of Lucia from 7am until nightfall! We cannot wait to publish this explosive account! We had a delicious lasagne at Lucia and Vince’s place on Wednesday, along with The Shift author @writerdanadasilva and of course @sineadheappublishing too!

💫 Celebrating Lucia’s Debut Memoir 💫

☎️ Operator 56 @lucia_domenica_ ☎️

Not only a coming together to celebrate in a SOLD OUT tightly packed room, this gathering was a heartwarming recognition of the humblest yet equally vibrant and gregarious sweet human behind it.

A true tale of grit and perseverance, while outwardly self-deprecating and full of fun, this generous and bubbly soul smashes through the expectations of the times, fending for herself with a vehemence in an industry most would run away from.

Barely sleeping, working erratic hours while raising little ones, we are witness to the self-discovery which forms the heart of it all.

I loved seeing likeminded people come together in this vibey location. Characters from the book, readers, writers, journalists, industry professionals helping to craft the book and (amazing) friends and a happy family. The true village coming together in support. I enjoyed beautiful chats with many of you!

Part memoir, manifesto and inspirational learnings, absorbing the heartfelt words from Lucia’s network, @writerdanadasilva fellow writer, and @hembury_books publisher Jess, I felt it created a thread furthering the true arc of her story - mutual kinship from the crowd of women and those in the room on book launch night, wrapping her in love.

I loved surprising Lucia on the night where I was welcomed and felt a part of. This is what she does, and I was heartened to be a part of it.

💛 Dana hosted perfectly, and thank you @berkelouwbooksleichhardt for having us 💛
