Hi book besties!

This isn’t a place you rush through! ✨️

Come browse slowly. Pull random books off shelves. Discover titles you forgot existed. Leave with a stack you definitely didn’t plan for.

(We support book decisions here.)

Opening May 29 ✨

You've been asking if we carry Filipino authors, and we love that you do! We've been with Ashley Alberto since the beginning, and welcomed I.C. Galvan at the start of 2026 (both proudly from Baguio!) ❤️

And now? There's more of them, book besties! More Filipino voices. More stories worth holding onto.

Now we need your help:
Do we bring all these titles to our April 15-16 pop-up at Bee's Nest with The Highland Finds, or save them for our SOON-TO-OPEN physical shop? 👀✨️🥰

A book that feels like a deep breath you didn’t know you needed. 🤍

Read ‘A Life That Was’ here at Foggy Oasis, or DM @_shopascend for your own copy.✨🌿

Ahh what a chapter 🥹

Thank you to everyone who dropped by @thecityoffindss Nook Market on August 29-30. Whether you picked up a new book or two, went on a blind date, or stopped by for a little chika, you made this story one for the books. ❤️

Extra special thaks to our favorite Baguio author, Ashley Alberto, for gracing our nook, signing books, and sharing her magic with us. 🥹

We'll catch you at the next pop-up, book besties! 🥰 Thank you again and again for the love ❤️

Some stories begin in books, others in the little corners where people gather. 🥰

At the City of Finds' Nook Market, Jenny (Ashley’s former student and now friend) and her partner Rafiela left behind a surprise: a paid copy of A Life That Was, already waiting to be loved by the next interested reader. 📚

Ashley, the author herself, was there to sign each copy for readers who took one home, making this gift even more special. ✨

Thank you so much Ashley, Jenny, and Rafiela! You girls are the best! ❤️

(Second photo: Our lucky reader who got a free copy of A Life That Was. It was really meant for you ❤️)
