Hello bookstagram,

Well, very tired this week with hardly any free time. I've barely read these last 7 days. The end is in sight though and the holidays start next week. 🎄🎁🎉👏🏻

Tbh, I have some great expectations of my own at the moment - I'm really hoping to get back to the UK for a week to visit my family in their village. That's the plan anyway. I do miss them. Fingers firmly crossed! 🤞🏻🍀🐱

Still, one thing about the holidays (especially winter holidays) is grabbing a tea or coffee, a book and a blanket somewhere warm and cosy to hibernate. 😃 📖🕯

In the run-up to Christmas I've been seeing a lot of content about A Christmas Carol (including my own content) and I thought this Charles Dickens quote seemed timely. What an emotionally and mentally exhausting year. However, I'm optimistic about things improving in 2021. 🌱📗
