One more successful DISRUPT Meet up, a night of sharing, learning, networking 🦴

A huge thank you to our presenters, and our community who joined us for another incredible DISRUPT AI Community Connect.

This edition featured generous insights by our partners from Swinburne and Deakin, Associate Professor Max Schleser and Dr. Luke Heemsbergen sharing the key insights from the DISRUPT Whitepaper “Creative AI is the New National Infrastructure”, a Q&A panel with the presenters consisting of students, academics, designers, researchers, film makers, creative technologists, business owners, agency founders and industry leaders.

A special thank you to Max and Swinburne University for hosting us, and to Max for expertly guiding the evening’s conversations. We’re also grateful to everyone who contributed to the Q&A and shared their perspectives throughout the night.

This community continues to grow because of the people in it, and we’re excited to keep building together. If you’re interested in becoming a DISRUPT Ambassador, send us a DM.

DISRUPT AI Community Connect continues to grow.

Another sold out event, our community is expanding with a room packed in an evening for sharing, learning, chatting and meeting new people. Our second edition featured two generous and open-sharing information with the show-and-tells from Levi and Vgor, followed by a reality check discussion on IP and copyright led by corporate and commercial lawyer Emily Booth from our Disrupt AI Film Festival partners Holding Redlich.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along. The energy was buzzing, with people connecting and exchanging ideas around creativity and responsible AI throughout the night. The room brought together a diverse mix of AI filmmakers, designers, advertisers, academics, consultants, producers, actors, studio owners, and many others passionate about the future of Gen AI 🦴

If you’re interested in attending a future session, keep an eye out for our next meetup announcement on the DISRUPT Instagram. Spaces are limited, so be sure to RSVP.
