OUR “GoFundMe” IS LIVE!

We’ve set a goal for $1,000 to cover the rest of our basic production needs, but the sky is the limit!

If you’d like to help fund a super cool independent short film made by a team of passionate and committed Kentucky filmmakers, then consider donating to the “GoFundMe” page for “AFTER THE PARTY!”

In the indie-film world, every dollar counts, and every dollar you donate to “AFTER THE PARTY”will go directly toward providing the cast and crew with the proper resources they need to do their jobs well – this incudes catering and craft services, gas reimbursements, makeup, SPFX makeup, costumes, location permits, production insurance, art supplies, camera lens rentals, VFX, music, and the myriad of other things it takes to make a movie.

It takes a village, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Christmas By Design (2025)
Directed by: @pcuffiejones

This movie was one of my favorite highlights of 2025. As the 1st Assistant Director, I strove to ensure everything happened in a timely and safe manner, all while enjoying the opportunity to learn as much as possible from our Director.
The biggest challenge was arriving at the project a week after filming had already started. I had only hours to create my own breakdown of the 120-page script. I knew it wouldn’t be easy and that mistakes were a possibility, but I accepted the challenge and traveled to a new city where a crew of 20+ people was waiting for a 1st AD they had never met.
They were wonderful—humble, friendly, and highly professional. It took me only minutes to realize I was in the right place. I wish I could visit them more often; they showed me a completely different side of American life. They are such great artists because they are genuine and driven by pure passion. Many people don’t even know Louisville exists, and that is likely what makes the place so special.
Thanks to the amazing people who worked on this movie for trusting and welcoming me. I will never forget you. #502film and thank you @sunshinefilms 🙏🏽🎬

Last week we celebrated FreeMe’s birthday by gifting free one-year subscriptions to crew members in our community.

Now we’re spotlighting some of our Giveaway winners, the hard-working people behind the scenes. This is just a small way to celebrate the people who help bring stories to life.

Swipe through and meet a few of them. 💛

Our Renegade block battery is incredibly versatile, capable of powering multiple devices on set—whether it’s your camera, monitor, lights, or more. With a 777Wh capacity, weighing under 22 lbs, a 3.5-hour charge time, and 15V, 28V, and 48V outputs, Renegade is an essential tool for every production.

Here it is on set with DP @instajammer powering an @arri Alexa 35 while on a @chapman_leonard Super Peewee IV Dolly. The Renegade came in clutch powering the camera all day long so the crew could concentrate on the project at hand.

World Premiere of @bobtrevinolikesit at @sxsw

Loved the shout out from producer @edgarrosa for our city and state. Proud to say that this incredible film - already receiving RAVE reviews from critics and audiences - was shot entirely in Louisville.

Starring @johnleguizamo @barbieferreira and @french_stewart and utilizing majority Louisville local crew, this film helmed by first time feature director @tracielaymonfilms was humourous, poignant and supremely well executed by every person involved.

Cheers to everyone who was a part of this exceptional film!

We could only tag 20 people so add any additional tags in the comments ❤️❤️❤️
