I had so much fun at the @superstaropenset last night. My first open set as an nyc resident, and I decided to revamp my Jekyll & Hyde look a little bit.
(And I’m continuing my unintentional streak of being the one blurry person in the group photo)
Thank you so much for having me @xaddyaddy and @pachacvnti!! #dragking #nycdrag #halloween #supportlocaldrag

Friends make anytime into a fun time, and that includes the spookiest day of the year: ELECTION DAY! Pizza Mermaid has learned about voting, so she’s decided to run for President of Freddy’s Bar and BackRoom on her platform of FRIENDSHIP! She has an unexpected challenger: SKELETOR (or perhaps it’s a legally distinct, yet still skeletal character!) Can her campaign manager the Riddle Tree help her keep this cartoonish rogue away from political power? Why is the Riddle Tree suddenly so obsessed with Richard Nixon? You’ll have to see the show to find out!

Featuring burlesque by Dick Move! Music by Artemisia LeFay! Clowning by Humanette Honks! Drag by Uncle Freak! Hosted by Pizza Mermaid (aka Maggie McMuffin) and The Riddle Tree (aka Johnny Caligula)! With GoGo by Miss Mary Cyn!

Friendship: Pizza Mermaid For President! will be on Tuesday, November 3rd with doors at 8PM; show at 8:30PM at Freddy’s Bar and Backroom. $10 Suggested Donation at the door.
