Urban Ecosystem Restoration” by @_millo_ + @streetartmankind

I’m definitely a tree hugger. And this awesome blend of urban and nature, which is one of my joys about the little pockets of New York City.

@nyknicks in 5! it’s so wonderful to be an adopted fan of New York City. We have not been to the championship in over 20 years. I think it’s due time for the championship.

graffiti is one of the best creative endeavor because you get to create art in your form, fashion and vision. Enjoy it everyone.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Garden Party last night. We were able to honor @tracyegilchrist a prominent LGBTQ+ media veteran and storyteller, and listen to performer @tanyaasapansa

As a grassroots organization, we rely heavily on our generous donors. Events like this allow us to keep LGBTQ+ New Yorkers and their families safer and protected from the daily federal attacks. There is still time to give, link in our bio.

In the coming year, my goal is to be more active with the Letters Tou Mai Podcastt, where you’ll have the opportunity to hear courageous voices sharing their vulnerable stories.
I have been traveling, recalibrating, and contemplating how to best share these wonderful narratives. Oftentimes, staying consistent is difficult because life blows our sails in various directions.
My commitment is to consistently amplify stories from our inspiring Hmong/AAPI community.
I hope you all stick around for Season 2. Let’s hear, let’s share, let’s listen, and most importantly, let’s heal through “Letters that Speak & Stories that Heal”.
For S2Ep1, you’ll get the chance to hear from a Hmong Filmmaker! @nk.xiong

Yesterday we made history at our Founding Convention at Touro School of Social Work! In a packed room, social workers came together to connect, learn, and build power. Together we:
✨ Formalized our board for the upcoming year
✨ Set our collective priorities
✨ Strategized around our legislative agenda

A heartfelt thank you to our special guest Assembly Member Jessica González-Rojas, and to our incredible partners who showed up strong: Latino Social Work Coalition, NASW-NYS, and the National Association of Puerto Rican and Hispanic Social Workers.

We are especially grateful to Rutgers University School of Social Work for attending in full force—your presence shows the momentum behind this movement.

This is only the beginning. 💪🏽✊🏽

💡 Radical acceptance isn’t giving up—it’s healing.

Living with ADHD means facing stigma, shame, and self-doubt. But acceptance, paired with compassion, opens the door to something bigger: self-love. 💜

When we shine light on ADHD, depression, anxiety, and trauma, we take them out of the shadows and remind each other—we’re not alone. Healing begins with acceptance, and no one can love you better than you love yourself. 🌱

💬 What does radical acceptance mean to you?

⚡️𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘⚡️💡 Radical acceptance starts with self-love.
❓What would change if you stopped fighting your ADHD and began accepting it as part of who you are?

In this Fireside Chat, we sit down with Xai Yang @xaidy_nyc , a licensed social worker, advocate, and late-diagnosed ADHDer, who shares his journey from shame and stigma to building a life rooted in radical acceptance. From growing up in a Hmong American community where mental health carried heavy taboos, to finally receiving a diagnosis in 2018, Sai opens up about the long road toward self-acceptance, healing, and advocacy.

🌲This conversation explores the New Year’s tension between resolutions, routines, and relapse, and how ADHD adults can break cycles of shame by embracing identity, compassion, and community.

✨ Highlights ✨
• Why ADHD “loves structure but hates routine” and what to do about it.
• How cultural stigma and late diagnosis shape ADHD identity.
• The concept of “macro invalidation” and how reframing it with affirmations can shift self-talk.
• Why are identity-based habits (from Atomic Habits) more powerful than quick fixes?
• How radical acceptance and healing can turn ADHD into a tool for connection and advocacy.

This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt shame for their ADHD or wondered what true self-acceptance really looks like.
