Ladies and gentlemen… “The Fantastic Brothers 龍兄虎弟！” Inspired by the opening of an iconic Taiwanese variety show, Frame Taipei proudly presents one of the pioneers of Mandarin dance music — DJ Jerry, widely known as the “Godfather of Mandarin Electronic Music,” joined by his longtime vocalist, “Missy Babe”. From Taike dance music to Mandarin pop classics, familiar melodies, Y2K memories, and club beats come alive once again. Back in the ’90s, DJ Jerry was already blending Hard Trance, Hip-Hop, and House into Mandarin dance music. With hard-hitting rhythms, addictive melodies, and an unapologetically bold style, he created one of the most distinctive sounds in Mandarin pop. Whether you know him as the “Godfather of Taike Music” or the “Godfather of Mandarin Electronic Music”, DJ Jerry’s name has long been part of Taiwanese pop culture. From the ’90s to today, those boundary-pushing sounds have left their mark on an entire generation. This night isn’t just about nostalgia. DJs from different generations come together under one roof, moving from Mandarin classics and Taiwanese dance music to contemporary Club Music — bringing different eras of club culture onto the same dance floor. No need to guess the song, and definitely no need to keep calm. Know the lyrics? Sing along. Feel the beat? Dance. ■ DJ & LIVE LINE UP ■ DJ Jerry 羅百吉 ft.寶貝 @djjerrytaiwan sus4 @lacrimoseangel Lucky9 @2lu9 XAN @syouan.yo @xan__92 Jun(+886) @jun_messwith INN @inn.cy DATE｜2026.09.12 SAT TIME｜22:00–04:00 LOCATION｜@frame.tpe No. 143, Sec. 3, Civic Blvd., Zhongshan Dist., Taipei City 10491, Taiwan ENTRY｜NT$800 (includes one drink) Virgos get FREE ENTRY with a valid ID. CLUB DiVA – DiV4 invites THAO 🔈TODAY 6PM CET Girl… For the last time… STAY where I can see you! I keep watching you disappear into the strobes every time the next set begins. THAO isn’t letting the night end and if I ever lose you again… I swear… You can hear it in her selection. The bass stays low and patient, knowing the night is long enough to wait you out. Tracks slide into each other like they’re sharing the same bloodstream. Broken club tools, ritual ascension, manic percussive pressure. No easy relief. One thing is clear now girl… the room never resets. It sinks lower. ___ @thaong_ is a DJ based in Vienna. Her musical focus lies on genres rooted in the UK’s hardcore continuum, which continue to influence her sound and selection. She has recently taken a more deliberate approach to curation, reflecting on representation in club culture and the visibility of artists with diverse backgrounds. This shift has guided her exploration toward bass-heavy and percussion-driven electronic music produced by artists of Southeast and East Asian heritage, including those from diasporic communities. Many of these artists weave traditional rhythms and cultural references into their music, creating spaces of resistance, memory and belonging. For THAO, playing this music is a way to connect with her own background, highlight underrepresented perspectives and acknowledge the diverse origins of electronic music. cover art by Jan Dzierżanowski @brudneloki #bass #experimental #percussive
