“Is it September already?” was something we heard all too much traversing the bustling halls of Olympia. From Backup’s breakfast kicking off proceedings, to PLASA and Avolites’ respective 50th anniversary celebrations, as well as Rise AV’s summer party, there was no shortage of places to be – or people to catch up with. Despite the litany of modern (and classic!) innovations on display, the true value of this September shindig has always been the same: the people.

Until next year, PLASA Show! 👋

It’s day 2 of @cediaexpo here in sunny Denver Colorado with our USA CI/RESI/HI-Fi partners Playback.

Alex & Mark are here to tell you all about how our MC² Delta-X & I-Series amplification can transform your cinema experience, utilising our tried/tested & proven power amp technology that has been at the forefront of live/concert sound, the most prestigious venues & nightspots, and famous recording studios across the globe… For over 30 years!

But don’t take our word for it…

Head on over to Sound Rooms 5 & 6 (SR5/SR6) at the rear of the hall, to hear for yourself, as they provide pure and clean power for the incredible loudspeaker systems from both KRIX & PMC.

SUNWAVES. SPAIN.
☀️🌊
For an electronic music festival recognised for its production standards, we deployed a Funktion-One system comprising:

Main:
6 × EVO 6E
6 × F124
Backstage:
2 x Res2

MC² Audio Delta Series amplification and processing.

The EVO 6E provides clear projection, controlled directivity and accurate full-range reproduction, preserving detail and musical energy across a large-scale venue.

The F124 extends the system with fast, articulate and tightly controlled low-frequency performance, delivering impact without compromising mix definition.

MC² Audio Delta Series amplification and processing provide the required headroom, control and consistency across the system, allowing each component to operate within its intended performance parameters.

The position of each loudspeaker was carefully calculated to focus the system’s coverage on the centre of the space, ensuring that the central listening position received the most direct, coherent and impactful presentation.

This configuration was selected for its balance of acoustic output, clarity and control — essential qualities for a festival environment where the sound must remain precise, dynamic and coherent throughout the night.

Designed for the space.
Tuned for the music.
