Our show The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs has been nominated for an Olivier Award - Best New Production in Affiliate Theatre! @olivierawards

Hannah and I started @damselproductions 10 years ago and have spent that time navigating the rewarding and frustrating world of subsidised theatre. We have been with @imanqureshi’s hilarious and heartwarming play since being put together for @sohotheatre’s Soho Six - to its first outing there, to our indefatigable co-producer @emmasophy @anticprod joining and ultimately running at @kilntheatre back in June 2025. I am so proud that our perseverance and belief in this incredible show has been recognised. Thank you to everyone who loves this play as much as we do xxxx

MEET OUR PERFORMERS! | ALL POETRY IS GAY ✍️

We just added a new batch of free tickets. Secure your spot now before they’re gone!  
⭐️ @tiahuband is a queer writer and performer whose work frequently touches on the queer, magical and natural worlds.

⭐️ @yaelelisheva is a character and drag performer bringing back the UK’s third favourite lesbian cantor.
 ⭐️ @a_g_parker is a Pushcart, Best of the Net, and Space Crone Prize-nominated queer disabled writer, performer, and facilitator. Publications include Not Your Orlando (Punk Dust), Twisted Roots (Reconnecting Rainbows), Gynandromorph (Written Off), and ACE-funded anthology eff-able (fourteen poems). Other publications include Mslexia, Financial Times, Arachne Press, Bi+ Lines.

⭐️ @iloveyouporgy is a writer and actor who graduated from East 15 and is now based in London.  ⭐️ @donoldhut is, among other things, a veteran arts writer (The Times, The Stage, etc.) and devising performer who is proud to be a member, since 2018, of both the Olivier-nominated Rhiannon Faith Company and the Duckie off-shoot Posh Club*Dance Club.

⭐️ @_carminetiberini_ is an Italian actor based in London who creates dynamic characters on screen and on stage.

⭐️ @awesomejash (Liangqing Yuan) is a London-based artist whose practice primarily engages with non-material forms, alongside sound, lens-based media, text, and performance.  ⭐️ @godaliut is an actor and theatre maker with a passion for truth in storytelling. She will also host this night, bringing a perfect blend of very dry Eastern European humour and warming openheartedness.

Well what a banging start to the New Year 💥

👡We moved @blownfusetc ‘s theatre set as we make plans for #InHerShoes and #Release
🌳The Farm by @newms1987 received an extra pot of funds so the R&D will definitely happen in April
👯‍♀️Feel the Beat by @jodiecolemoves will go on tour as we received ACE funding for it! (2 years since I got ACE funding!)
👩🏻‍💻I emailed 50 venues for tour booking The Wise Men by @yaelelisheva and were in convo with 7 (and counting!) for a Spring ‘27 tour
🤫I did some secret filming yesterday! More on that over the next few months
🗽Holding the fort whilst @vijayrajpatel92 is away, planning Youth Board and Access Steering Group meetings

I did some unsexy stuff too like … paying my Self Assessment Tax Bill 💸
