They said “we’re gonna set up the camera to record while we play games” and I’m a content creator so I didn’t think anything of it 😂

The timing was the best part because I had just gotten sad news about another loved one canceling their plans to come to my wedding 🥹 gosh I love these ladies SO much!!!

The ones who prayed me through, believed with me, pushed me further and never let me settle. I don’t just mean they carried me through my waiting season to marriage, they carried me through as I waited on the Lord to finish the pruning and refining process He began in me when He rescued me 6.5 years ago. These women are the epitome of sisterhood in Christ, and the evidence of a loving and faithful Father 🥹😭😭🤧🫶🫶💜

This might look like a coordinated matching bachelorette night out but it was so much more 🥹

Story time!! So in the weeks leading up to my bachelorette trip I was sad that we hadn’t planned for even one “matching outfit”. I was wishing that we had but I also didn’t wanna put more pressure on my girls or cause them to have to buy anything extra. Fast forward to the first day, I showed them the dress I was going to wear to dinner and they were all like “IM WEARING GREEN TOO!!!” 🥹🤧

As if that wasn’t enough, earlier that day we realized they all had orange bathing suits, and the following day they had orange dresses!!!! So even though we had never talked about it and I had never mentioned the desire for us to match, I hadn’t even prayed about it, yet God in His goodness made it happen not once, not twice, but threee times!!!

This entire weekend was full of God’s goodness and His affection for the “little” details. One of my favorite Bible verses is Psalm 37:23 which says “God directs the steps of the Godly, He delights in every detail of their lives”. I’ve experienced the reality of that scripture so much in my walk with Him, and it was extra special to have my closest friends get to experience it with me all weekend long.

God isn’t just my savior and master, He is my Father and friend, and life with Him is so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined 🥹🫶

Honestly, I don’t even have the words for today. 🥺🤍

The forecast sworeeeeee it was going to pour and it did but then God came throughhhh at JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT! The storm looked so real, and I was this close to pulling the plug on the whole thing. But God gave me that gentle nudge: when I say go, just show up. 🙌🏾

Y’all, the literal second we stepped foot on the Beltline, it was like He pushed the clouds aside and brought the sun straight out. ☀️ People got hugged so gently, prayed for, and reminded that they are deeply loved by the Lord and not in this alone today. 🥺

If you’re facing a storm right now, maybe it’s not a sign to stop, maybe it’s just an invitation to trust Him and keep walking. Just show up and let God handle the rest. 🤍

This past Saturday on the Beltline with Equipped Daughters was such a sweet reminder that we don’t have to have all the right words or know exactly what God is going to do, we just have to be willing to show up and let Him lead. 🤍 In Isaiah 55, God made a promise that when His word goes out, it will always produce fruit! It may not happen exactly when we expect, but there’s a promise that the fruit will come. We got to pray with so many people, give lots of sweet hugs, encourage others, and witnessed 7 people dedicate or rededicate their lives to Christ! One of our favorite parts was seeing us get to step outside of our comfort zones to shine the light of Jesus. It’s not always easy, but when we allow the Lord to lead us, we get to see just how beautifully He can use us. 🤍

A simple reminder for this week: don’t underestimate the little things. A compliment, a smile, an encouraging word, or simply asking someone how they’re doing can open the door to a conversation and you never know how God might use one conversation to impact someone’s life. So grateful for our partnership with @equippeddaughters and for everyone who came out with us 🫶🏾✨ #light #Jesus #encouragement

The joy I felt marrying my best friend and sharing it with my loved ones exceeded what I ever expected to feel, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve thanked the Lord for it since. ❤️
