What if taking just 4 minutes to watch this video could open the door for you to be part of changing someone’s life? ☀️

For over a year, a group of us with a heart to serve have stepped out monthly and in everyday moments to encourage others, pray, and remind people they are seen, loved, and not alone.

This video is just a glimpse and an invitation to be part of something bigger that I truly believe God placed on my heart. Moving forward hasn’t always come without fear, doubt and discouragement, but God has been doing a work inside of me and now all I want to do is share that hope with others. 🤍

We can’t do this alone. Whether through serving, asking for prayer, receiving resources, or supporting the mission financially (Zelle: 904-207-2799 | Venmo: bethelight-514), there are many ways to join us in bringing hope to others.

Because at the heart of it all, this isn’t our light… it’s Jesus’ light we desire to shine. ☀️🤍

Lil ol’ Yabi just turned 33 🤍🥹🙏🏽

This past year had me doing a lot of reflecting, looking back, questioning choices, and wondering at times if I was behind. But God has constantly kept reminding me that I’m right where He wants me. As I keep my eyes on Him and seek Him first, things always line up the way they’re supposed to.

So thankful for my life, for a God whose goodness never ends, and for Abatiye, my faithful Father who always keeps His promises. Saying yes to Jesus has been and will always be the best decision of my life 🤍

Yabsera (የአብ ሥራ)
(noun) 1. Work of God - a life designed, shaped, and sustained by Him. 2. A living testament of His grace, purpose, and light.

For so long, I believed my name reflected the work I did for God, striving, proving, trying to earn my place. But a few weeks ago, as I sat on the couch, I felt a gentle nudge from the Lord to get up and look in the mirror. The moment I saw my reflection, He revealed this to me:

I AM His work. ❤️ Not by my effort, but by His hands. My life, my journey, EVERY part of me, crafted by Him and purposed for His glory. Grateful and expectant for all He has in store this year. 🫶🏽🙏🏽 by @yah_bee

God is faithful to His promises. ❤️

So thankful for those that joined me today and those who prayed for me and the strength of my body along the way 🥹💕 It was a struggle, but I did so much better than I expected!

I love you baby Yabsera 🤍

Tia shared this picture with me this morning and I immediately began to just thank God 🥹

Thank him for saving me. Thank him for showing me more of who I was really created to be. Thank him for this little girl who 30 years later is now walking with the Lord. Thank him for finding me stuck in the cycle of running and not leaving me where I was. Thank him for shining hi light and opening my eyes. Thank him for freeing me from years of shame, fear, insecurity, rejection, tormenting thoughts, timidity, pride, doubt, sadness, restlessness, jealousy, comparison, addiction, people pleasing, allowing my emotions to control me and more. Last but not least, I thank him for revealing who he really was to me and not trying to just experience him through other people. I thank him for transforming my heart. He can still do the same for you today.

This picture took me back to where I was before Christ and how much my life has changed since that night in February 2021 when I chose to surrender my life and plans to God. A place where I felt like I was trapped in a cage and now because of Christ, I’ve been set free. I’m so grateful. 🤍

Give God another chance to show you that he is real. Ask him to show you just how much he loves you and I promise he will. Don’t allow the hurt you may have received from people cause you to doubt Gods ability to love and help you. All it takes is one moment, one step, and one touch. He wants you to choose him and only him. No more one foot in and one foot out. 🙏 that void you’ve been trying to fill yourself will continue running dry because it’s a void only God can fill.
