This collection explores nostalgia through the uncertainty of memory. Inspired by the difficulty of recalling specific moments, it reflects how memories fade, shift, and become distorted over time. Rather than illustrating nostalgia directly, the collection uses fragmented forms and recurring elements to recreate the way memory behaves. Across five ready-to-wear looks, shared silhouettes, colours, and structural gestures return in altered ways, reflecting how the same memory can change each time it is remembered. These garments mirror the fragmented nature of memory, capturing something familiar yet never entirely the same.

Why do you make art?🎨
@yanakrastev made a miniseries where she speaks with students across the academy about their artistic practice, inspirations, and what keeps them making work. We’d love to hear your reason!🩵
