Group show at @artemisstudiola ✨ Opening October 3rd

One of my favorite things about Topanga is the incredible community of artists, makers, ceramicists, photographers, and creatives who call it home.

I’ll be showing one of my mirror paintings at the beautiful @artemisstudiola alongside an amazing group of artists. Come wander, discover new work, meet the artists, and experience a little of the magic that makes Topanga so special.

Artist spotlight Natasha Yaroshenko @yaroshenkoarts

Natasha Yaroshenko is a ceramic artist based in California and the founder of Yaroshenko Arts. Her practice is rooted in a deep connection to clay — its plasticity, chemistry, unpredictability, and relationship to the earth. For Yaroshenko, ceramics is both a creative partner and a form of expression, reflection, and storytelling.
With a background in mathematics and psychology, she brings both analytical and intuitive approaches to her work. Her practice explores shape, texture, and earthy palettes as a neutral canvas for layered ideas, often incorporating local clays and rocks into her pieces. Inspired by the land and its endless variation, her work reflects a tactile dialogue between object and place, surface and story.

We are grateful to have Natasha’s “Urban Panels” in our current group show , On The Surface Of Things.

The urban panels are inspired by material, Japanese Brutalist architecture, and the environment that surrounds them. Made with porcelain - something seemingly fragile, but actually incredibly strong, the series speaks to hidden strength and stories behind the surface.

Natasha’s smaller vessels and sculptures have been shown in Artemis since the beginning of 2022.
