A carousel of videos with no editing or plan. Just the way it shows up in my memory: bright and happy and messy. by @yaroshenkoarts

There are trips and there are journeys. This time New York took me out of my life as I knew it and injected it with so much love and awe that nothing stayed the same.

I feel inspired and energized and so so lucky

When I first made these, I loved the cups with deeper indentations and more dramatic white. But now I realize I prefer the ones where the plant trace is more vague. Just a hint, a reverse shadow.

This journey where my view of a piece continues to evolve long after it’s finished, is my secret pleasure and inspiration for new work

Some pieces come together in a snap, and others take their time. I’ve been loving with this vase for weeks, and finally I found what it needed.

A touch of gold

The first sculpture of the new series.

All of these happen mostly in the moment, with no final result in mind, only a feeling. And now when I look back at what I have built so far I can see that it has translated into a portrait of a moment in time, a snapshot of my life and my way of moving through it. taken in Los Angeles, California by @yaroshenkoarts

I love how quiet this picture is. Every line so crisp and clean and only my lamp adding softness and curves. The lamp changes the room, and the room in turn changes the lamp taken in Santa Monica, California by @yaroshenkoarts

One of my first vases I made inspired by a tree in a parking lot across the street. That tree is no longer there and I myself have changed a lot in these years, but I do like this vase still taken in Los Angeles, California by @yaroshenkoarts

Dark on dark

I envision a wall covered in these, a play of light and shadows. Subtle yet powerful

I play with lighter clays usually, but these have a special place in my heart 🖤 taken in Los Angeles, California by @yaroshenkoarts
