📅 28 settembre 2026
🕖 Ore 19.00
📍 Corso Vercelli 3, Milano

Lingua dell’incontro: italiano
L’ingresso libero fino a esaurimento posti

Libro cominciato in Versilia e finito in ps.

Data e luogo saranno comunicati prossimamente.

I’d heard about the Aspen Security Forum for years, and this year I finally got to attend. The best way I can describe it is as summer camp for foreign policy nerds. Between big conversations and catch ups with policymakers, journalists, and friends were hikes (or, in my case, white-water rafting), receptions, good meals (including restaurant adventures with friends old and new), World Cup match watch parties, and the much-hyped bear sightings. I even manifested a mama bear and her three cubs, twice—plus a moose. You might have to start calling me Snow White now. 🐻

One of the highlights was spending time with my friend, journalist @roxanasaberi, who stole the show on the Iran panel. She earned not one but two rounds of applause for reminding the audience to focus on the Iranian people, who are too often left out of conversations about war and diplomacy.

What was probably the most memorable experience was the Socrates seminar on the United States’ role in the world. For three days, I felt like I was back in grad school: getting up early, walking to class, tackling 100+ pages of reading, and making new friends with fellow “students.” I came away with plenty of thoughts, but it was especially meaningful to hear people from diverse backgrounds outside Washington and the foreign policy bubble affirm that the things that matter to me, like accountability and trust, are essential if the United States wants to thrive on the world stage today…
