The audition window for Crescent Choir’s spring season is open a little longer, through March 31st.

A few folks have reached out needing more time to get clear on their spring schedules, and that makes sense. So we’re holding the door open one more week.

If you’ve been sitting with it, this is your nudge.

Crescent Choir brings original songs by local Asheville-area artists, across genre, across style, into collective choral performance. Last season’s show was something special and the music really shone through. We’re building on that.

Rehearsals are Monday evenings, with an optional shared meal beforehand. It’s rigorous and it’s warm, the folks involved show up with a lot of heart and are ready to work.

Song submissions close March 24th, if you have original music you’d like considered, that deadline holds.

Audition info + link in bio.

The holidays came early this year as we held our annual Darby EOY retreat and celebration this week! With our NE contingency in AVL, we had a great time planning for the future of Darby, celebrating anniversaries, telling stories, bowling, and having a little friendly backyard game of PIG.

Lookin through photos of the concert for my dad that I put together with the help of my friends back in March. Dad wanted to name it Peace, Love, and Light - which has been his mantra through his battle with brain cancer. So much has changed since this concert, but what has remained constant is the love and support from all of our friends and family.

@johnshulerviews like I tell you every day- I love you, I am here with you through every step of the way, and I feel so lucky to have you as a father. You took care of me through my worst moments and now it’s my turn to take care of you and give you the love and support you have given me all my life.

Hug your friends, hug your chosen family, remind people that you love them. At the end of the day we only have eachother and that’s really all that matters

Endless gratitude for @ayurpranalisteningroom for giving us such a wonderful space to hold this concert
