I'm an east coast bitch through and through, but the 4 pass loop was something special (there's even video evidence of me admitting Colorado is ~pretty cool~)

Us GUIERLZ hiked our little selves 27ish miles up and over West Maroon, Frigid Air, Trailrider, and Buckskin pass. We braved out a huge thunderstorm below Trailrider pass (and polished off our whiskey), heard a mountain lion screaming through the valley (yes, really! we confirmed with a ranger and Arielle owed me a beer), observed our daily "ceremonial washing of the feet" (no hands allowed), played the role of trail therapist/hype man for each other (what a life), ate up all our jibbinbopbi (aka chicken pot pie), laughed ourselves to sleep each night (BIG case of the giggs), and woke before first light to catch the sunrise ontop of Buckskin pass (first time we used our headlamps...bedtime was always before sundown!!)

On August 24, 2025 @apask4 and I were the first people on that pass- an hour where the world and its every possibility was ours to savor. Sistaaa, I'm grateful for your friendship and all our adventures of past, present, and future 👯‍♀️ taken in Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness by @yarrow_kate

📍 Mount Zirkel Wilderness

Cold dips in Lake Gilpin, wildflower mosaics of columbine, yarrow, scarlet paintbrush, and fireweed.

Arielle's very special trail talents and my new special interest (and current fixation) beavers!! Unfortunately no beavers were spotted (these crepuscular creatures were likely napping) but we admired their well crafted lodge :)

Second annual guierlz trip was too short, but very sweet👯‍♀️ 💜 🦫 @apask4 taken in Mount Zirkel Wilderness by @yarrow_kate

@littlest__pixie is such a gem on earth, it's no surprise that her bachelorette trip would be just as special!! Of all my roles in this lifetime, being your big sis is one of my favorites 💕👯‍♀️ taken in Antigua Guatemala by @yarrow_kate

Inviting you to an evening with Crescent Choir 🌙
Saturday February 28th at @ayurpranalisteningroom
Doors at 6pm | Show at 7pm
🎟️ Ticket link in bio!

This fall, I was feeling a creative restlessness. Just like the waning and waxing of the moon, my creativity is cyclical, and these days I know that it is best to just observe the transition of darkness to light and from light back to darkness. One thing I felt strongly is that I just wanted to SING! (I have a @kismet_theband sized hole in my heart).

And when @phiabird announced her new project, Crescent Choir, it was the perfect antidote to my artistic humdrum!

To be a part of Crescent Choir & Moon Choir has been such a special experience. Feeling the energy of everyone in the room, a patchwork of voices, like an old quilt!

I am so inspired by the all the songwriters who have shared their songs, and feel so supported by this emerging lil community of vocalists.

We've prepared a lovely night of music for you. I hope you can make it ✨ taken in AyurPrana Listening Room by @yarrow_kate
