✨CUE✨…instant regret 🌾😅

Ya’ll know I had to test the straw bang out for science…and I didn’t like the result lol.

I know that it didn’t help that the glued bits near the brim were more straight…but I didn’t want to take a risk gluing over the same brim 3 times (and also running out of straw)

I really gave myself the ‘dumb & dumber’ blunt bowl cut 😂😂

…but on a positive note…I fulfilled my scissor cutting cravings :)

You win some…you lose some

…I already fixed the hat in record time lol

There’s so much beauty in the present and in the NOW. The biggest blessing, we often take for granted is being able to wake up and come home each day. The glass half full seems farfetched if life’s stress got to us before the idea of gratefulness has. Remain grounded in your NOW, grateful in your present and fortunate for your current – no matter how difficult whatever is going on around you may be – every new day is a day to change, fix and grow.
.
I am including some tips that help keep me grounded or help me regain my sense of “center”. I wish I could include all 100+ - I’ll be posting an article on more grounding techniques soon.
.
My 10 Tips on Grounding:
1. Remember to breathe
2. Swap your negative thoughts for positive ones
3. Change your vocabulary (practice more “I Can” and “I Will” statements)
4. Take all necessary breaks for you to not burn out
5. Pay attention to your body – Be present within yourself – Recognize how you’re feeling when you are feeling it
6. Meditate whenever you can (meditation doesn’t always require you be at home, sitting on the ground with your legs folded, but it does require you to be somewhere that you feel safe and preferably somewhere with little to no interruptions)
7. Stretch your stress out
8. Make a gratitude list. (Every hour take a moment to find and write down one thing that you are grateful for)
9. Remember you are in control of your emotions
10. Find something meaningful to you and hold it (crystals, pictures, any joy or peaceful artifact).
