Feeling deeply grateful for everyone I’ve had the chance to connect with during this past month.

I never imagined Houston would be a place where I’d find community, yet it’s where some of my deepest connections have taken root.

Every gathering, conversation, and shared experience has reminded me that we’re all just walking each other home.

Thank you 🙏🏼

Bring your drums and instruments if you have some. Friday night is our scheduled drum circle in the amphitheater on the lake, but there is lots of drumming through the weekend. Come dance with us around the fire and let’s howl at the moon together. The theme is remembering our roots. This is the time. This is the place. We are the ones we have waiting on. See you at Medicine for the People

M E D I C I N E is for the people
M E D I C I N E for the people
M E D I C I N E is the people
People are M E D I C I N E

Who knew a space, container, energy held and playing instruments could potentially**** heal and cure you medically as if - it was a prescription. I did. And this is what the doctor ordered. Attending these last 2 times have opened my eyes, my heart and grew my sense of belonging in my life and community.

Prayer in motion
Primitive rhythms
Bonfires
Wholesome fun
Dancing
Experiences that can change your life

Here are some recap clips of the last festival gathering.

March 2026

As always, at Medicine there are breakthrough moments, life changing instances, and incredible music that inevitably become medicine.

This gathering is family friendly, intentional workshops, delicious food cooked by community for community, and space to fully feel and express yourself. ALWAYS an honor to be on this stage / attend.

If you’re on the fence — here’s your sign. 🪧

Why we gather twice a year on the equinoxes. This is a 4 day living prayer for ourselves, our community and the collective.
What do you want to see in the world? Let’s do that.

Hello Casa Catz! 🥁

This Sunday we have a full evening of special programming, and we'd love to see you there.

🥁 5:00–7:00 PM | Drum & Song Circle with @ybublevi

An open-flow circle exploring rhythm, voice, call and response, and collective music-making. Bring a drum, an acoustic instrument, or simply your voice and join the circle.

💙 7:00–9:00 PM | Benefit Gathering for Luis Carlos Chacón
After the circle, we'll come together in support of our friend Luis Carlos Chacón, who was recently detained by ICE. This gathering is an opportunity to raise funds for his legal expenses and support his journey home.

The evening will include live music, food, raffles, and community. Every donation, raffle ticket, and shared meal helps support Luis during this difficult time.

If you're able, stay for the gathering, invite a friend, and help us spread the word. We hope to see you this Sunday at Casa. 💛

Friday is that time again. A time to gather and dance freely. To let the body speak it's wild, unpredictable and yet nuanced language of creative expression. Please join us for another ITB, a space where we can dance and be wild without the reliance on substances. At this event, the dance is the consciousness altering substance. The dance is our practice to bring forth connectivity between heart mind and will. The dance guides us deeper, each moment into presence, emptiness, and yet fullness. Always, live and improvised music will lead the way, from talented and creative souls Michael Sgarlata, Edwin Gomez, Jesse Ward, and Ybub Levi.
