First race for Yellow Creek and it was cold 28 degrees. Henry said after 20 years of riding he still doesn’t know how to dress right. lol I was the same way I could’ve used toe covers but we did have a good time. Henry pulled out a 4th overall podium, I took the ( W ) in the 40 & over class. I really wasn’t sure how I was going to end up starting out slow took a while to get moving. But it all worked out. Shout out to Pro Bike & Run for everything!

Today at Yellow Creek, I raced in the cold spring air the kind that steals your breath. Took my own advice: “Breathe more.” Not to go faster, not to be stronger, just to get more oxygen. Came in 1st place in Expert. Every climb, every push, every moment of being chased and chasing back it all reminded me why I love this. Welcome, spring!

Watching Jen take 2nd in Sport made it even sweeter. Racing alongside friends and teammates who grind as hard as you do is what makes the victories feel real.

I’m so grateful to be supported by Specialized, Racing for the Bicycle Shop, and Happy Valley Women’s Cycling you make chasing moments like this possible.

Some days, the trail beats you down. Today, it reminded me what’s possible, why I show up every day, and how far the work I’ve done has brought me.

Cheers to spring races and thanks, Aaron, for everything.

2025 was a decent year 🤘
From a bunch of homie rides, early season mtb, gravel and oval racing, CS cross camp, to an epic 5 day stage race in Iceland and capping the year off with one of my best cyclocross seasons. Bikes rule, homies rule, this year ruled 🖤💛 #cyclocross #mtb #frothing #69 #bikesrule

Under-repped gender group ride!
Race to the Moon Course Preview!

We will start at Moon Park in the back by the tennis courts. (See photo) and ride down to Montour Woods, the total will be about 9 miles.

This will be no drop, about 5-6 mph, depending on turnout and pace of the group.

Race to the Moon is a great first MTB race or a challenging one if you want to do the sport or expert routes with longer distances, so join us!!

Bring lights! We will meet at 5:30 and roll at 5:45 sharp since it’s getting dark earlier.

Wrapped up my last race of the Yellow Creek series on Saturday. Finished 7th after a couple of crashes and a hard-fought battle for position that managed to come out on top of. I was about 1:30 off my PR, but I'm still happy with the effort. Ended the series 2nd overall in points, which I'm proud of for my first full series. Looking forward to running it again next season-but before then, see you at the @monthofmud

Giving myself a massive kudos for making it over this feature that I’ve never made it over at @yc_monthly race on April 19th!!
I previously posted a video of me botching this but here I am making it … unfortunately this was a race and there aren’t any other POVs to this so you’ll have to take my word on this 🙌🏾✨
