Happy Labor Day! @nestorphotog's photos are up! Find them on our sponsors page linked in our bio. Sorry for the delay; it's been a rough week, and Jim was busy too. Thanks to all who came out last Saturday for our finale. Big thanks to all of our volunteers too, who made everything go super smooth. Hope you're gettin' out on this beautiful weekend too! ✌🏼 by @yc_monthly

Friends of Yellow Creek and @lhorba_bike_club were represented at @paenvironmentalcouncil's Western PA Trails and Greenways Summit earlier today. It was a very informative conference; thanks for having us!

Please refrain from riding at Yellow Creek this Sunday, July 26th. The annual Run With The Deer Flies trail running race will be taking place. This includes Billy Goat, Damsite, and all trails on the north side. (Simpson Trail is OK since it's not used.) This is likely the last year that Bill will be hosting this race, so c'mon out Sunday morning for day-of registration if you'd like to take part! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️ by @yc_monthly

.... and we're back! Hope y'all have been enjoying your summer.
Here's this year's artist series t-shirt designed by @sophiamariepappas of @studio.pdp! 🎨 If you registered for the series before the end of February, yours will be waiting for you at our last race on August 29th! All else can order this t-shirt for $25 on our August registration page - link in our bio. Register and order yours now, and we'll see you next month! We'll also mail your shirt if you're not attending the race. ✌🏼 by @yc_monthly

Throwback photo! September of 2019 - when current Pittsburgh Marathon winner, Will Loevner (@willloevner - second from left) came in first place in our Expert category. Will went on to do the Wilderness 303 (the Wilderness 101 course back to back to back!) and is currently crushing marathons. There's a link to a short film chronicling Will's 303-mile, 32.5-hour MTB adventure in Rothrock State Forest by our friend Brad Fey (@dronediculous) if you'd like to check that out.
Congrats on your latest achievement, Will! Keep on crushin' it. 💪🏻🥇 by @yc_monthly

Muddy one today! 🌧️ Thanks to all who still came out to brave the rain. Also big thanks to Bryan at @unisonbikelab for sponsoring our timing this time around. No one conquered Brandon & Katy, so they went home with a little more cash in their pockets. Proper @nestorphotog photography to follow. ✌🏼️ taken in Yellow Creek State Park by @yc_monthly

I had another appearance on the @whereadventurelivesjtn podcast earlier in the week. I guess my first wasn't too boring. 😅 I enjoyed my chat with Mike Cook (@jtwninclinedplanetrails) and was glad to have the opportunity to focus more on our sponsors, artists, and volunteers. Link in the bio if you want to give it a listen. Mike has plenty of great content about other outdoor recreation opportunities in our area, too! by @yc_monthly

BIG payouts on the line. Come give these two a run for their money on Saturday, or they'll just go home a little richer. BikeReg link in bio. Registration closes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday! 💰💰💰 by @yc_monthly

We have the BEST sponsors! Every single one has returned from last year! With their monetary contributions, we were able to raise enough money to cover our insurance, timing costs, and other expenses associated with our race series. We also received many gifts-in-kind that will be distributed to our participants in their race bags and as prizes for our series winners in August. Thank you for helping our grassroots series thrive! ✌🏼 by @yc_monthly
