Come make Gooseberry Garden with me 🌿🩷

Fresh, leafy and full of colour, with a little surprise waiting on the inside.

I loved the softness of this botanical green, but I knew it needed something unexpected… so in came the pink. 🩷

Gooseberry Garden feels like that little moment between seasons… still holding onto colour as the days start getting darker.

Would you have guessed there was bright pink hiding inside?

I’ve been sewing since I was about 9, but I’ve never made a jacket in my life, until now.

This one pushed me way out of my comfort zone. Thank you @rosyspatterns 💜

Printing and piecing the pattern, cutting to my own size (first time ever), quilting everything, trusting myself through the messy bits… all of it felt like a proper challenge.

And I’m genuinely so proud of how it turned out, especially because it actually fits 😭

Such a special feeling wearing something you made from start to finish.

My 9 year old would be so proud. 😊

Life lately…

a little catch-up after a few quiet months on here 🤍

The biggest surprise of this year? Getting engaged to George in Menorca. 💍 We’d fallen in love with the island the year before, and this time he surprised me by proposing on a beautiful cliff overlooking the sea. And there I was, wearing my bucket hat, completely unaware of what he was planning. 😂

When he asked me to marry him, my first answer was “Oh, sure!” I was so surprised I actually had to ask, “Did you really just propose?” So he got back down on one knee and asked again. And this time, I said YES. 💍

He’d bought the sweetest little crab ring with a bright blue stone in Menorca. We spent the rest of the day exploring, before heading back to Mahón for sunset, wandering the little streets we remembered from our first trip and stopping for celebratory drinks. It was so perfectly us.

There’s been a lot happening at home, too. Since the end of February, I’ve stuck to two PT sessions a week with my wonderful Gill. 💪🫶🏼

I promised myself this would be the year I’d feel my fittest, and I’m honestly so proud of myself for keeping that promise and showing up. 🤍

And then there’s @yeahdaysuk ☀️ What started with an idea and a handmade gift for a friend has become my own little business.

Around five months in, five markets done and more than 70 totes made, including gifts for people I love.

Two weeks ago, I even welcomed my first helper, who comes in to help me with prep. Such a big milestone for my little business. 🥹

Now there are new fabrics, new designs and Christmas markets to get ready for. Lots of sewing ahead, and so much to look forward to.

Building something of my own takes so much dedication, but knowing someone chooses something I’ve made with my own two hands… that feeling still gets me every time.

And if you’ve made it this far, thank you for being here and following along. I can’t wait to share more of what’s ahead.

Every time I carry this bag, I’m going to be reminded that the world is smaller than we think && that some of the most meaningful connections come completely by chance. @shopyeahdays has officially made its way to Texas ✨ so happy to have met @decemberqueen1991 on her visit to the US🤍 Supporting her business feels extra special because behind this bag is not just a maker I admire, but a friend I never saw coming. 💛✨🏈🏙️

This one was hard to let go…

Made this bag for a friend in America and I think it might be my favourite one yet. 💛

The colours, the shape, the whole feel of it, just so me.

Lucky for me, I can always make another one… because this one definitely deserved a twin.

Handmade, one at a time 🤍💛

Aura’s perfect afternoon: a good book, a sunny patch, and a bag close enough to keep the snacks in 🧡

she picked her favourite from the new batch (it’s the orange one, obviously).

tag someone who’d appreciate a dog this devoted to doing nothing.

Yeah so, A friend gave me her bed cover that she absolutely loved and asked if I could turn it into a bag for her niece 🤍

The fabric belonged to her nana, so this piece carries a lot of meaning and memories.

I thought this was such a beautiful idea, creating something practical that can also be kept and used every day.

There’s something very special about giving fabric a new life.
This is one of my very first tote bags and how wonderful to be able to create this special piece. 👛🤍

If you are interested in a special and meaningful piece please contact me.

A little sewing project that turned into my new favourite tote bag.

It’s the kind of bag you can fill with picnic food, beach towels, or take along on a camping trip. Big, sturdy, and practical.

Swipe to the end to see the inside. 👜

George inspected it and apparently it’s a 10/10, so I think it passed the quality control test.😁

This was my first tote bag and I actually made it for @thisismasuma 🫶

I made this Tote bag for George’s mum’s birthday. 💛

She wanted a tote for everyday use and for when she takes her parents shopping.

I had made a few options and she picked this one.

Always love seeing where the pieces end up.

thinking of making more…
if you’d like one, message me. 🤍
