🍝 AL DONTE’S 32ND PASTA BIRTHDAY BONANZA 🍝

Come celebrate priperly cooked pasta and Al Donte as he takes another trip around the sun! 🪩

We’re taking over the beautiful Civiq Labs space in the historic McLeod Building for an evening of good food, good music, and even better company.

Come early and come hungry! 🍝 We’ll have delicious pasta dinners for sale, so grab a plate, settle in, and enjoy the evening before we turn things up on the dance floor.

🎶 On the decks:

6–7 — Yeah Mozza
7–8 — Craig Knox
8–9 — Vcho
9–10 — High Sobriety
10–11 — Al Donte

📍 Civiq Labs
McLeod Building — 10009 101A Ave, Edmonton

And when the music wraps up, the party doesn’t stop…

AFTER PARTY AT CLUB 97 🪩

Come hungry, bring your friends, and help us celebrate 32 years racially ambiguous anarchy ❤️💚

✨Our time to Frolic draws near✨

🌻 Frolic Fest 0.3 🌻

As we are approaching our Frolic Fest we would love to introduce to you our amazing lineup of artists! 🎶

Give a big hello to our third slot,
YEAHMOZZA

“Standing 6’7”, weighing in at 183lbs, YEAHMOZZA (they/them) is a larger than life stage presence who takes enormous joy in finding the grooviest tunes and sharing them with satisfyingly smooth blends. Originally hailing from land cared for by the Wallumettagal people, now known as Eastwood, Australia, YEAHMOZZA has found some roots amongst the bass bins in amiskwaciwäskahikan. Bright, bouncy and not overly fussed by genre, YEAHMOZZA has been melting dancefloors throughout 2026, performing solo at Queer Rave Night and as a part of OKdoomer at The Womp and The Wind Down, while also broadcasting groovy tunes every Thursday on CJSR 88.5FM as the host of the Late Night Lounge. They can often be found frantically running around town each Thursday, letting the ravers know where they can dance each weekend by producing The Weekend Guide
So if someone asks if you like a little bit of cheese, feel free to say YEAH! Cause it’s MOZZA here!”

As we are all getting ready to get on our dancing shoes, early donations can be sent directly to our dear friend, Jessi Clarke via her email 📧

Welcome to Frolic Fest 3.0! 🍃

Frolic Fest is an event created to provide support to members of our community while doing what we do best, dancing! 💃🕺

Enjoy a night full of wonderful music provided by the local underground’s best, shop the market of artisanal vendors, dance with your friends (new and old!) 🌈

Jessi originally organized both Frolic Fests, bringing our community together. Now, needing support herself, we are ask our community to come together again for a beloved member and help us return the favour 😌💓

Being an essential part of Edmonton’s rave community, you can usually catch her vending her crotchet as WubbyWeaves at plenty of shows 🧶

Unfortunately, Jessi has had quite a tough couple years, with this one being the toughest yet.
After a car accident, Jessi has struggled with pain and recovery, and after receiving an injection in her back that was supposed to fix some of this pain, ended up developing Cauda Equina Syndrome - where a herniated disc in her spine was compressing her nerves.
She had emergency spinal surgery in August and is happy to be on the road to recovery once again, but could use our support to make that easier on her!

Tickets will be $15 at the door
All proceeds, including 20% of vendor sales will be donated directly to our friend, Jessi Clarke 💕

Guys..

This might be my favourite set of the summer that I've prepared for you all! It's cool because this set is built off most of my existing library. Tracks I've never gotten to play out yet.. 👀

Playing live, amongst so many legends - idols that I now get to call homies.. it's a big ol' smorgasbord at the Lakeside Patio stage tomorrow and it is seriously just a dream come true to be a part of it.

I've been on Fort Knox Five & Freddy J 's dance floors for the last 20 years and in the past 3 years, shared stages with them. 🙏🏼✨️

I've listened to Jennay Scott on Soundcloud for over a decade.

I've shared the Unicorn Lounge roster with Charles Araujo Matos for the last 3 years.

I entered The Womp DJ contest at the same time as Bruce Bogtrotter & OkDoomer 3 years ago and we've been homies ever since.

OH FUNK are the gems that keep the Edmonton music scene movin' and groovin'.. ( The Faculty )

Rich Glow is a fellow Red Deer areola DJ and friend!

The Heather Network is one of Edmonton's one and only Y afterhours resident DJ.

Beat Burgalar & Steve's Here are two of Edmonton's finest legends also!

Like WHAT!?!?!

So join ⬆️US⬆️ tomorrow at the Lakeside Patio at The Wind Down Festival Alberta for a seriously ridiculously GOOD TIME.

I had the GREATEST time at Wicked Woods @wickedwoodsmusicfestival ! Made so many new friendships, and emboldened some old ones too!!!

A HUGE thank you to @percusshunkidd for bringing me to the show last-minute. It was a privilege being able to capture your magic on-stage!

Thanks as well to my AR volunteer family! You guys are amazing. You all hold a special place in my heart.

And of course, the rest of the amazing people who I met, as well as the rest of the crew and volunteers that made it all happen.

Will definitely come back next year!!! I have so many memories to cherish until next time!

Got to volunteer with CJSR a couple times; once at the Garneau Theatre where I got to watch the new Elvis documentary for free afterwards and once at the Folk Fest @edmfolkfest. #volunteer #cjsr @friendsofcjsr #volunteering #volunteerism #volunteeringisfun

How Edmonton and Alberta universities targeted their own … students? Tune into this week’s episode of Pivot Points wherever you get your podcasts, more details on the show page under ‘on demand’ at cjsr dot com

Pivot Points is hosted by @friendsofcjsr, this week it featured @elsthomson of @drugdatadecoded, @_fiveonfire_. David and Euan spent 18-months discovering a secret network coordinating to suppress student movements for @thebreachcommunity.

@psa.macewan was in the house with @noureports, @spiderhijabi, @abraar__alsilwadi. We also had @sjp.uofa but had to distill several hours of interviews into one hour. 😬

Special guest: @yeahmozza.
